Are there any hard numbers on the 18-35 vote from the primary?

Hey all. The next dad’s group meeting will be next Wednesday August 19 at 7pm at Glass and Grain. We’re a group for dads (first time or otherwise) to talk about dad or not dad stuff as the conversation wanders. We have set a standing meeting on the third Wednesday of the month at 7. Hope to see you there. Spread the word!
Does anyone know anyone who cleans trash cans? I don’t want to deal with it and the water run off. Thanks!
Anyone have any insight on why I would have 4 seemingly random exact dollar ~$40 cash credits from American back to my credit card? They occurred around flights taken, but I’m not sure what they’re for.
Just passing along information. No need for a debate. Have a great day!
I’m a theologically promiscuous (I’ve dabbled in lots of theological circles) Protestant who loves the historical, liturgical, and social justice strains within the church. I adore Oscar Romero and Dorothy Day. My wife is a cradle Catholic and we attend a Catholic Church. We’re about to have a child and I’m struggling with having them baptized into a faith where I can’t square the circle. I’m also struggling to handle my own potential conversion. There’s a not small part of me that wants us all to practice the same faith. I have doubts and questions aplenty which is why I haven’t found another place for us to go to church. I have Episcopal Church roots so I’m aware of its openness. However, I want to see if I can figure out Catholicism. I keep being drawn to it.
I’m a big believer in the idea that no group gets their theology 100% correct. I’ve had a great appreciation for the church and its big tent. People of all stripes and flavors are Catholic and they subscribe to any number of beliefs.
However, I feel like the church is defined more by what they are against than anything else.
My struggle is what the church teaches in a number of places from: transubstantiation and gate keeping the Eucharist to treating children of God like second class citizens because their lifestyle isn’t agreed with.
I understand that there are different opinions on whether homosexuality is a sin. I’m convinced being gay isn’t a choice and if being gay is a sin then God should quit making gay people. I believe God loves people as he made them.
I struggle hard against anything that tells people that who they are intrinsically is wrong. If it’s not a choice then it can’t be wrong. The church says homosexuality is ok, but acting on it isn’t. So you’re fine just be alone and celibate for life? They ask this of no one else.
I’ve seen even in LGBTQ and Lefty Catholic spaces the church says x so just believe it. But how do you make that work without the agony of mental gymnastics?
How do those who stayed and especially those who joined make it make sense so your everyday life isn’t agonizing? Please share anything that helps you (especially videos and writing that helped you).
Our last leg tonight from ORD to CWA is canceled due to Air traffic control issues. So we’ll need a hotel and food. Anyone had luck getting reimbursed for such expenses from the Citi insurance on the Globe card?
What bars are folks watching it at? Thanks!
I’m sure this has been covered before but there needs to be a way to a revenue and reward ticket on the same reservation. Not link them, but have them be a single purchase and record locator so all benefits apply to both. It’s frustration when they aren’t.
Awful air quality today. Everyone stay safe!
Edit: sorry 450 from Airnow.gov
Hey all,
I am 39 male and have SQCP. I am ambulatory but I feel like it gets harder every day. For those of you who have/had babies what did transferring from one surface to another look like? What did you use? How did you carry the kid around? I know I can’t stop it, but I’m super scared to fall with the kid.
Thanks!
Is there a team to watch and follow? I’ve got WC fever and would like to see games in person.
I’m just curious what people’s thoughts are so far. I’ve been watching Argentina and France. Being in Argentina in 2014 for the WC is when I became a soccer fan. The whole country shut down so watch or stare at the wall. So I watched and it was great.
Every WC I resolve to watch more soccer. How did you find your team(s)?
Pop up Dads group meeting Wednesday 7/1 at 7p @ Glass and Grain for anyone interested. Hope to see you there!
I’m a father to be who has a lot of theology In my life and head who loves the church but isn’t Catholic. My wife is a cradle Catholic. I don’t have a problem with my child being baptized Catholic mostly because I don’t have a better alternative and also for all of its faults I love the church.
My question is does anyone know of any good books, videos, podcasts that deep dive into the Catholic position on baptism or better yet compares and contrasts Christian baptismal positions? Thanks!

Where are folks watching the World Cup? Specifically where there would be soccer fans. I don’t want to watch it at home.
I know EES is in effect, but has anyone had luck getting stamped at CDG or FCO. I’m bringing a group of students and it would awesome to get them stamps if I could.
Today after almost 11 years is my last hosting day for the foreseeable future.
My wife and I are welcoming our first child in September. Thus, our house will be dedicated to that new adventure. I hosted in Louisiana and Wisconsin renting out a spare bedroom and bath in both houses. I remain amazed that we made more money in Central Wisconsin than the capital of Louisiana.
It’s been a fun ride and I’ll miss it especially meeting people, problem solving and the money.
At the beginning of DH&J Hank says “This is a Complexly podcast”. He sounds like the person on NPR that says “This is NPR.” It’s so soothing.
