I’m a father to be who has a lot of theology In my life and head who loves the church but isn’t Catholic. My wife is a cradle Catholic. I don’t have a problem with my child being baptized Catholic mostly because I don’t have a better alternative and also for all of its faults I love the church.
My question is does anyone know of any good books, videos, podcasts that deep dive into the Catholic position on baptism or better yet compares and contrasts Christian baptismal positions? Thanks!

Where are folks watching the World Cup? Specifically where there would be soccer fans. I don’t want to watch it at home.
I know EES is in effect, but has anyone had luck getting stamped at CDG or FCO. I’m bringing a group of students and it would awesome to get them stamps if I could.
Today after almost 11 years is my last hosting day for the foreseeable future.
My wife and I are welcoming our first child in September. Thus, our house will be dedicated to that new adventure. I hosted in Louisiana and Wisconsin renting out a spare bedroom and bath in both houses. I remain amazed that we made more money in Central Wisconsin than the capital of Louisiana.
It’s been a fun ride and I’ll miss it especially meeting people, problem solving and the money.
At the beginning of DH&J Hank says “This is a Complexly podcast”. He sounds like the person on NPR that says “This is NPR.” It’s so soothing.
Signed a tired teacher so close to summer
Like many people I’m new to Citi. My statement doesn’t show the amount of miles that each transaction earns. There’s just a purchase number and bonus number at the bottom. Is there a way to see each transaction and how much it earned? The purchase number which should be 1:1 doesn’t match my spend, but they don’t show anything other than those two numbers. Barclays would tell me how much each transaction earned and that was nice.
I will be taking students to Florence this summer and basically we only have lunch to eat on our own. Where’s the place to get a chianina beef steak in Mercato Centrale? Also if they have smaller sizes in case I can’t convince one of my kids to eat with me that’d be great! Hit me with your best recommendations.
For teachers who have led student trips abroad where you’ve had to give tip money to various people in cash: did you convert the money into the local currency? What was the most efficient way to do it and keep track of it. I really don’t like this part of leading a trip. I wish there was a way to do it electronically.
Context these are mandatory pre planned tips.
