I believe this is a redcat ascent 18 and it has a weird issue where randomly it will just steer all the way to one side by its self and I can still steer but when I adjust the trim to straighten it back I can no longer steer then it just repeats will eventually go back to one side by itself can steer I straighten the trim I cant steer and I have no idea wtf is going on also the throttle is fine through this whole process forward and back perfect

Ive really been trying to look around trying to find a 24th scale willys crawler but I can't I can only find bigger 1/10 and 1/14 I've ever tried find after market body's or independent sellers but I just can't does anyone know of one or some place I haven't looked for some more specifics in size id like it to be similar size to a scx24 power wagon

Im planning on changing most if not all electronics on my power wagon mainly because I want to waterproof it im not real familiar with small crawlers like this correct me if im wrong but brushed motors aren't waterproof (resistant) right? And stock scx24 esc is also the receiver right? So I would need to get a new esc and receiver correct? Just looking for some pointers and possible recommendations also I dont care to much about going brushless im trying to keep a budget and make water not kill it lol

I have a rustler 4x4 vxl and I think im having esc issues so I've been looking at getting a new esc I dont plan to add any more power im happy with 3s MAYBE 4s definitely no more though and I plan to stick with the stock motor for now until something happens so just looking for suggestions ideally not crazy expensive
