Can anyone identify these two actresses and the movies these clips are from?

I came across these clips in a vintage/Old Hollywood video and I'm trying to figure out who these two actresses are and what movies the clips are from.

Both clips are from black-and-white films, and I believe they are from the 1930s, but I'm not completely sure.

Does anyone recognize either of these actresses or know which movies these scenes are from? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I have attached screenshots from both clips.

"I saw a woman in a regression that I first saw at my grandparents' house as a kid."

I did a guided past-life regression meditation once, and during it I saw an image of a tall woman I couldn't see her face, but I could see her height and her haircut clearly. She had a short 1930s bob, and her hair was styled the exact same way both times I saw her.

Here's the thing though. Years before that, when I was 12 or 13, I was down at my grandparents' house. My mom's parents were still alive then. It was late, I was tired and getting ready to go to sleep, and I saw the same woman tall, same short 1930s bob, same hairstyle. I didn't see her face then either, just the same presence.

I always told myself I was just seeing things because I was tired. But then when I saw her again in the meditation, it matched. Same woman, same hair, same everything the bob was styled identically both times.

I've been doing the work to try to figure out who I was in a past life, and I still haven't found out. But I can't shake that these two moments are connected somehow. Has anyone else had something from a regression match something they saw earlier in their life?

Which Old Hollywood stars are still alive and respond to fan mail?

I've been collecting autographs since 2010, and one of my favorite pieces is an Ann Blyth autograph I wrote to her in 2011 and got a reply, and I'm so glad I did before she passed.

I'm looking for other classic-era actors who are still living and known to respond to fan mail. I especially love the stars who worked with Joan Crawford, Bette Davis, Barbara Stanwyck, Greta Garbo, or Joan Fontaine. Any suggestions? Also, where's the best place to send fan mail these days?

Can Anyone Identify This Actress or Movie From a TCM Summer Under the Stars Promo?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to identify a movie clip that I remember seeing in one of TCM's Summer Under the Stars promotional ads.

It was a black-and-white film featuring a blonde actress with long hair. She was smiling, making gestures with her hands, and said something like, "I want a little bit of this and a little bit of that."

I know that's not much to go on, but the clip has stuck with me, and I've been trying to figure out who the actress was and what movie it came from.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Does Anyone Recognize This Old Hollywood Movie?

Hi everyone,

I came across this clip on TikTok and was wondering if anyone recognizes the movie it's from. It shows a woman raising what appears to be a knife or dagger, and it has a silent-era/Old Hollywood horror or gothic aesthetic.

I've attached a screenshot. Does anyone know what film this is?

Thanks in advance!

Trying to Identify a Documentary That Aired on TCM Earlier This Year

Hello everyone,

I'm trying to identify a documentary that aired on TCM earlier this year.

It wasn't just about classic movies. It covered films from multiple decades, including movies from the 1980s and other eras. I remember it showing lots of movie clips and featuring interviews with actors and actresses from the films.

I believe it was about a movie channel, television program, or something related to how movies were shown on television, but I can't remember the title.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

Thank you for any help.

Looking for a Current Ann-Margret Fan Mail Address

Hello everyone,

I am an autograph collector and recently wrote a letter to Ann-Margret. Before I mail it, I was hoping to find out if anyone has a current fan mail address that is still working.

I found a few addresses online, but I'm not sure which ones are up to date. If anyone has written to her recently or received a response, I would appreciate any advice.

Thank you!

My latest vintage blouse finds 💜

Found these vintage long-sleeve blouses at Junk N Treasures and brought them home with me. They have some staining from age, but I love the color, lace details, and overall vintage look. I'm hoping to clean them up and enjoy wearing them.

Classic Movies Where the Woman Is the Center of the Story?

I'm looking for recommendations for classic movies, especially film noir, pre-Code films, psychological thrillers, and suspense movies where the woman is the center of the story.

Some of my favorite actresses are Barbara Stanwyck, Bette Davis, Joan Fontaine, Olivia de Havilland, Joan Crawford, Ann Sheridan, and Ann Blyth. I tend to enjoy movies with strong, outspoken female leads who are independent, intelligent, and don't let people walk all over them.

What are your favorite classic films featuring women like this? They can be well-known classics or lesser-known hidden gems. I'd love to discover some new actresses and movies to add to my watchlist.

Found this 1950s dress today at Trendsetters Vintage in Greer, SC. I’m really happy with this find!

I wish I could have found more clothes from the 1930's to the 1950's but this was still a good find though.

What is the name of this movie I watched a little bit of it yesterday?

And who was the actress that sang always pat your taxes to your town.

Looking for Affordable True Vintage & Old Hollywood Style Pieces

I’ve recently been getting really interested in 1930s–1950s fashion and would love to slowly ease my way into wearing more true vintage or vintage-inspired clothing. I really love the elegance, tailoring, and old Hollywood style from that era.

I attached some examples of the styles I’m drawn to high-waisted trousers, sailor shorts, dresses, skirts, blouses, tailored jackets, and classic feminine silhouettes.

Does anyone know good places online to find true vintage pieces like these for reasonable prices? I’m especially interested in beginner-friendly shops or trusted sellers 😊

Beginner Question:how can you tell if a piece is truly Vintage?

Hi everyone! I’m new to collecting vintage clothing and I’m trying to learn how to tell if something is truly vintage (especially 1930s–1950s pieces vs modern reproduction/vintage-style clothing).

What are the easiest signs you personally look for when you’re at thrift stores or vintage shops? Tags, fabrics, construction details, etc.?

I’m asking because I’m just starting out and want to learn how to recognize authentic vintage in real life while I’m shopping.
