Hey all, given the recent changes to the lorier Astra, I think there's a void that Ixdao can fill! They have experience making the dials with a lumed ring, and I think they could absolutely knock something like this out of the park. I've tried to change some stuff up so it's not a pier copy paste (lumed indicies, different colors, beads of rice bracelet, different case shape, standard Dauphine hands, 2 different lume colors, chapter ring), They could make this with the PT5000 (with optional upgrade to the SW-200), or even make some no date options. I think it would look absolutely incredible and be a great seller.

Here's my latest impulse purchase... I had never EVER liked the way a timing bezel/divers watch fit or looked on my wrist until I saw this one. I Stopped in at a local shop and they had this 2024 model available for sale. I paid a little under retail (~$2300 OTD), but being in the USA, my other options were going to be Watchbuys/reddit/or chrono24. It's got the OTF micro adjust, warranty for another year, plus the watch looked like it had never been worn! Absolutely looking forward to abusing this watch for years to come!

Built a watch for someone on Reddit, and a week after they received it, they told me it was no longer running. I told them to ship it back and id have a look.

When it arrived back to me, opened it up and nothing obvious was out of place. But wouldn't run despite being fully wound. Hair spring and balance would move, but would quickly stop, and would never move enough to get the seconds hand to run. To me, this looks like they opened it up and attempted to regulate it and something went wrong. What do you guys think?

I managed to snag this Sinn 556I RS used off watchex. Great piece for everyday wear! If I was more patient I probably could have gotten it on the H-link (I've heard it's fantastic) but for now I'll settle for the uncle straps BOR bracelet. Very wearable size and thin while still feeling substantial.

Overall quite pleased!

Love how understated it is. Sometimes a smooth bezel + oyster bracelet is refreshing in a world of jubilee and fluted. I think the tapestry dial gives it all the flair it needs.

Title says it all... I just got this thing and I'm shocked at the condition... Most of them still around (especially the gold) are beat to hell, so it was cool to find a full set with hang tag. I was a little nervous about the battery, but a quick trip to CVS and we were in business!

You can pick this guy up on AliExpress right now for ~$160, and honestly I'm pretty shocked. No, it won't fool an expert or seasoned GS collector, but as an owner of a gen grand Seiko, this thing is pretty convincing. The bracelet it's on is aftermarket 19mm from strapcode from my gen grand Seiko. Well worth the money for a beater

Ive been wearing this Moonphase I picked up on Watchex for a few days now, and I have to say it really is one hell of a watch. I've had a few other Zelos watches (GT Argento, Helica wave mop, and helica red opal) and this is my favorite of all. It wears comfortably, the micro adjust is fantastic, and the Moonphase complication is gorgeous. The hand winding experience is different than I expected, but not bad. I prefer the clasp on this to the newer helicas, but that may just be my preference. The adventurine is fantastic with the moon theme, and the lumed moon was an incredible choice. Definitely a unique but classy look.
