Sold my traveling combo X1+Z1 end of trip and now looking for a new compact traveling kit. New Z1+X1+Cases is about $650. Should I consider something outside NI?

A little background info:

- i was very happy and satisfied with the old Z1+X1Mk2 setup. Very impressive sound quality and compact - great value.

- end of my trip, someone offered fair value and I decided to sell, already eyeing the new Z1 + X1

- new Z1+X1+Cases cost about $650 shipped.

- I understand it offers 4 deck control and STEM - i also have a S5 that I keep it permanent at studio and I love the new features added to the Z1+X1 lineup.

- Yet, I needed to ask: should I be looking at a non NI solution for compact traveling DJ controller? I would like to stIck with TP4.

TIA

[Apple Ecosystem Locked my Buds3 Pro] How to reset and reconnect my Buds3 to my Galaxy S23?

Tried helping a friend by lending my Buds3 Pro for a 30 minute call. She connected my Buds3 to her Mac laptop. After the call, she "forgot device" under her Mac. Since then, I cannot reconnect to my Buds3.

I already forgot the device from my Galaxy phone, but when I try adding to my phone, it says "Couldn't pair. Check settings for this device and try again".

#FML and just another reason I hate Apple.

How to do a factory reset the Buds3 Pro? When I googled, it says to connect to power cable then hold connect button for 20 secs. But nothing happens to it.

Thanks in advance for any help.

[Novice Question] Installing some hemlock siding (rough sawn 1x10 boards) on 2x4 studs and ending on top of floor deck overhang. I understand that two metrics are important: a) height above floor board (flush or how much of a gap) and b) the angle of the siding bottom (flat or negative/positive).

I suspect these are well known and common things for experience carpenters, but I do know what is considered good practice. (i suspect I need to install it as shown in the image, slightly above the deck board and chamfered as shown).

Any guidance is welcome.

Thanks in advance.

[Help] Novice framer learning as I go. Trying to figure out how to frame walls top plate and the impact on roof rafters

This is the build as of now. Double 2x4s for top plate - missing on the photo the 2nd top plate for the pitched wall. I thought I needed to "cross" (overlap) wall top plates for bracing purposes hence i trimmed the front/rear wall top plates to accommodate the pitched wall top plate on top of it. Not sure if this was a good idea or bad. I suspect something is wrong with the upper top plate installation and it's messing up me installing the rafters.

Aside from ripping the outer rafters, which doesn't sound correct, I don't really know if my wall top plate design is incorrect or if there is a proper way to install the rafters in this situation that I just need to learn.

Thanks in advance.

Recent update brought Ads to my phone. Really? WTH. And forced all my aps to auto-update, which I had set to manually update. Any way to turn off the ads?

New RT68H Set: USA-C connection to PC?

Could someone clarify how to connect to a PC to program these radios? I purposely chose this set because of the USB-C port but I suspect there is a chance it yet needs another cable to connect to a PC? Really?

Could someone clarify?

Thanks in advance!
