Wegovy 2.4mg too expensive now (14k) what generics are people using?

Hi all,
I’ve been on semaglutide for a few months now and it’s worked well, but Wegovy at the 2.4mg dose is running me about 14k, which isn’t sustainable long term. I know there are generic semaglutide options available in India now.
For those who’ve switched, what brands are you using and how has your experience been (cost, availability, any difference in side effects or efficacy)? Also curious if anyone has a reliable pharmacy or source for these.

Lost 10 kg on Wegovy but stuck at 116 kg for 3 weeks – anyone else experienced this?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for some advice from people who have been through something similar.

I started my GLP-1 journey at 126 kg and I'm currently at 116 kg, so I've lost about 10 kg overall. However, I've been stuck at 116-117 kg for the last 3 weeks and the scale hasn't moved at all.

A bit of background:

  • Started on Wegovy and was losing weight steadily.
  • Had to switch to another semaglutide brand for about 3 weeks due to availability issues.
  • Moved back to Wegovy afterwards.
  • Currently on 1.0 mg and my next dose will be 1.7 mg.
  • I do a 30-minute brisk walk every day.
  • Eating around 1,600 calories per day.
  • My estimated resting calorie burn is around 2,200 calories.

I'm wondering if the temporary switch could have affected my progress, or if this is just a normal plateau. Has anyone found that moving from 1.0 mg to 1.7 mg helped restart weight loss?

For those who hit a plateau, what ended up working for you?

Semasize giving me loose motions — any other semaglutide brand available in India?

Been on weegovy semaglutide for weight management and currently at 1mg dose using Semasize (Alkem). The loose motions have been pretty bad and wondering if switching to another brand might help.

I know it’s probably a molecule-level side effect but wanted to check if anyone has had a better experience with other Indian generic brands.
Also open to hearing if anyone has tips on managing the GI side effects better — diet changes, injection timing, anything that worked.
