I've had my e36 about 8 years and have replaced the drivers side electric windows motor twice. Both times it has just stopped working again after a couple of weeks.
I'm about to replace again but I think i will go on a killing spree if it just dies again. What can I check/do to hopefully prevent this from happening?
It found it as a child on the Dorset coast i think.

I change my oil & filters about 4 years ago, did one track day and about 1000 miles since. Should change the oil again?
