I'm looking to replace my current Samsung A54 after the display became unresponsive following a drop. My budget is up to €550, and I'm trying to find the best all-around option that will last me for several years.
What matters most to me is excellent battery life, strong performance, good cameras (a telephoto lens would be a nice bonus), at least 256 GB of storage and 8 GB of RAM(12 is even better), reliable software support, and an overall the feel. I mainly want something that will remain fast and enjoyable to use for a long time.
I'm not interested in Galaxy phones this time around, and I've always been somewhat skeptical about Xiaomi devices, although I'm willing to consider them if they're genuinely among the best options.
What would you recommend in this price range, and are there any phones that I might be overlooking?

I have a Samsung Galaxy A54 that I've been using for a while, and recently I accidentally dropped it onto some floor tiles. The phone itself still turns on and seems to work, but the display has become completely unresponsive to touch. The screen doesn't appear badly cracked, but I can't really use the device anymore.
I'm wondering whether it's worth paying for a screen replacement/repair or if I should just put that money towards a new phone. For those who have had a similar issue with the A54, how much did the repair cost, and did the phone continue to work well afterward?
