The axe is made entirely from steel. And then it was plated with nickel to protect against corrosion and then further black powder coating on it will protect it much further.
The weight of the axe is 23kgs.

The handle will be black leather wrapped before I will ship it.
6ft steel pipe was used for the handle with a wall thickness of 5mm

I did Nickel and Copper Electroforming of these 3d printed parts. Getting them to not float was a challenge.
I wanted to show these parts, after they were assembled but I couldn’t wait.
First they were Nickel Electroformed, then Copper Electroformed.
After that I removed the pieces from the inside.

I wanted to ask, if someone operates a silver bath, in what form do you use the silver, do you use the potassium silver cyanide complex or just the simple silver cyanide. Or does the entire bath come pre mixed?
My problem is we don’t have a silver cyanide compound available, and I have to add silver chloride which I make it myself. So I am wondering how to solve this problem, because I know addition of chloride can ruin the bath.

I applied lacquer to seal it, then applied a conductive paint, and then did Nickel Electroforming, and then Copper Electroforming, and then Bright Nickel and then Silver Plating.

Nickel Electroforming of sugar apple and then bright nickel and then Gold Plating.
Don’t know what happened with this one while electroplating Gold, I did this with a large batch of other metal parts. Those came out fine, don’t know why sugar apple gave a darker shade.

Can someone tell me which is the best method to dissolve 3d printed cured resin quickly.
I make 3d parts and then thick coat them in metal (electroforming)
I have read that dichloromethane will dissolve it but I want to be sure before I buy it.

This is the reel that I followed to make that rice and chicken
THE SAUCE:
Greek yogurt (made from 1 kg of yogurt)
Half cup extra virgin olive oil
3 small cloves of garlic
Salt, chilli flakes, and a bit of honey.
Then grind all of these things together.
This recipe, includes
Chicken, sweet corn, black olives, tomato, cucumber, bell pepper, iceberg, extra virgin olive oil.
For the chicken Marination:
I added, salt, black pepper, chipotle sauce, some herbs like oregano, thyme( herbs are optional).
Ginger powder, garlic powder (it’s better if you add paste of these). I also added yellow mustard.
And in the vegetables ( I added chipotle sauce, sriracha sauce (small amount otherwise it would be very spicy) and extra virgin olive oil.
Today I refreshed a 20 year old Nickel Electroformed Curry with bright nickel plating and then Gold plating. I have attached both the old image and today’s images. The curry had been removed from inside when it was first Electroformed around 20 years ago by my Dad.

This is a small chess board made by Cnc machining. Made with steel. The dimensions are 40mm by 40mm. It has a drawer in it to put small chess pieces. It was polished and then it was chrome plated and then two types of laser etching was done. One is a light etched board and the other is a dark etched. Still needs more better work. This was a sample for a customer and I did ask their permission to post about the piece.

The blade is made from 65Mn Spring steel, the pommel is made by a process called electroforming. There’s a thick layer of nickel and then copper. It’s 2-3 mm thick and the inside of the pommel is hollow.
Still needs heat treatment and much more work to be done.
