Has Anyone Ever Experienced This on Tiktok? I literally don't know what to do.

Hey y'all.

I don't know what's going on but over a week ago, all the traffic on my account just completely died. I had many videos getting thousands of views daily and then it just went to zero. Support admits that there is a discrepancy with views and likes and keep saying they are reviewing my account. But they aren't telling me anything.

Has this ever happened to anyone? I worked so hard on these video and this is really bothering me. Also none of my new videos that I post get tested.

Tiktok admits that there something going on with my account

I know this is a YouTube subreddit, but I'm sure a lot of you also post on TikTok and might find this interesting.

For the past several months, I've consistently been getting views and likes. I've had multiple videos do well, and it was normal for me to get a new like every minute or so.

Then, on June 22, everything suddenly changed.

I noticed I wasn't getting any new likes on any of my videos. At first I figured it was just a temporary glitch or that I was imagining it.

Then I checked my analytics, and it was pretty shocking. I had been getting thousands of views, and then everything just dropped off at the exact same time.

On top of that, every new video I post now gets stuck at 0 views for a while and, if it moves at all, it usually only ends up with 2 or 3 views.

I finally contacted TikTok support. Dealing with them has been a nightmare, and they still haven't addressed most of the issues I'm experiencing. But one thing I found interesting is that they actually acknowledged they're seeing a discrepancy with my likes.

I'm curious if anyone else has experienced something similar, especially starting around June 22.

(I posted a collage of my views graph on the left and the message from Tiktok support on the right)

Has anyone else experienced this recently?

Hey everyone. I'm a fairly experienced Shorts creator, and when I first started, I occasionally had videos that wouldn't get an initial test. I know that's something a lot of new creators experience. But my channel has done really well since then, and I haven't had that issue in a long time.

Normally, I'd upload a Short and within a couple of minutes it would start getting tested in the Shorts feed.

About 10 days ago, I had a Short hit 845K views. Ever since then, though, almost every Short I upload either stays at 0 views for a long time or only gets around 10 views. This has happened with several uploads in a row, and it's getting really frustrating.

Is anyone else experiencing this? I heard there was a recent YouTube Studio update, and someone mentioned that Shorts have been acting strangely since then. I'm just trying to figure out if this is something others are seeing or if it's only happening to my channel.

This guy's bird impressions are so accurate they're nearly impossible to distinguish from the real thing.

I made a side-by-side comparison of Samuel Henderson's bird impressions and the actual bird calls. Some of these are so accurate they're genuinely difficult to tell apart.

Credit to Samuel Henderson for the original bird impressions. Original videos: u/diabetic4one on TikTok..

Everyone is lying about their autism

There is something that really bothers me, and I just can't put my finger on why.

I was on TikTok today and stumbled upon a video of a girl explaining how she's autistic and how she'll get a job, but after four months she'll become burned out and start calling out once a week. The comment section was filled with what felt like a thousand people saying they related and talking about their own autism.

I just feel like the majority of people who claim to have autism are lying. I know that's probably not a popular opinion, but that's honestly how it feels sometimes. It's like autism has become the new club that everyone wants to be a part of. People don't want to be neurotypical. They want to be neurodivergent. Doesn't that sound a lot more unique? A lot more interesting? Suddenly every quirk, every struggle, and every personality trait has an explanation attached to it.

I don't know. I just don't buy it.

What bothers me isn't autism itself. I have nothing against people who actually have it. I just have a hard time believing that this many people are autistic. Maybe I'm wrong, but when I see comment sections packed with people diagnosing themselves and identifying with every symptom, it starts to feel less like a medical condition and more like an identity people want to claim. That's the part that makes me skeptical.

Any tips on how to get Super thanks or Channel Memberships?

So I'm a shorts creator and for maybe a week now, I've been approved for the first monetization goal. But like... I haven't made a single dollar. Any tips and tricks or do I just keep creating and praying?

The hardest part of making YouTube videos isn’t the videos

Hey all, I’ve been posting YouTube videos for about a year now (I have a mostly shorts channel) and I’ve managed to build a small but solid channel.

One of the harder parts hasn’t been making the videos, it’s dealing with comments.

I don’t even get that many truly toxic ones, but I was surprised early on by how easy it is for people to drop negative or nitpicky comments with basically no hesitation. Even when a video is doing well, I still get a bit of anxiety opening YouTube Studio because I know there’s usually going to be a few comments focusing on what’s wrong instead of anything useful.

It’s been kind of eye opening about people in general. The anonymity of the internet really changes how people talk to each other, even over something as small as a short video.

I do hide comments that are just negative for the sake of it, but the problem is you still see them in the first place. The dashboard pulls recent comments right at you, and even with filters, stuff still ends up sitting there waiting for review. So it feels like there’s always a room in your house where people are talking about your work, and you have to decide not to go listen at the door.

Curious how other people handle this part of creating.
