Before I step away from trading, I’ll share the strategy that carried me all these years

I’m 48, and after spending years in the markets riding both euphoric highs and painful lows I finally built a system that kept me consistent. Not perfect, but reliable enough to grow steadily without chasing “overnight miracles

Before fading out of active trading, I want to share some experiences that have worked for me. There are no fees and no commercial promotions here; it's purely a space for everyone to learn, exchange ideas, and grow together

If you're interested, feel free to check it out. Although this method may not be suitable for everyone, it might provide useful reference

I'm 48 years old this year, with 15+ years of investment experience, and I'm about to start my retirement. Cheers! 🍻🍻

I'm 48 years old this year. My main investments are concentrated in Nvidia, Tesla, Google, Apple, and some stocks with growth potential, as well as some cryptocurrencies. This is the main reason why my assets have reached their current level

I primarily employ a reversal trading strategy based on advanced indicators: by identifying overbought or oversold conditions, I use reversal signals such as RSI and stochastic oscillators to capture price reversal opportunities

Technical patterns: such as head and shoulders top, head and shoulders bottom, double top, double bottom, etc. The appearance of these patterns usually indicates a possible market reversal. Oversold signal: When the RSI is below 30 and the price is in a downtrend, but suddenly shows signs of rising, it may trigger a reversal buy signal

Overbought signal: When the RSI is above 70 and the price is in an upward trend but shows signs of falling, a reversal sell signal may be triggered

I'm getting older, and various symptoms are starting to appear. Perhaps I'll consider retirement someday. Sometimes I ponder the meaning of life. Thank you for your likes and comments. Feel free to ask questions anytime. Thank you again

I’ve recently organized my setups and examples into one place. If you’re interested, feel free to take a look. No guarantees it will fit everyone, but it might serve as a useful reference

Took years to get here. The biggest lesson wasn't stock picking

Looking back at this curve, the biggest gains didn't come from finding the "next biotech moonshot."

They came from having a repeatable process:

Managing position sizes

Being patient during volatility

Adding only when the setup improved

Cutting losers before they became disasters

Most people focus on entries. I spent more time refining risk management and timing

The result wasn't overnight. It took years of mistakes, adjustments, and sticking to a framework that fit my personality

Curious what others in biotech focus on most: fundamentals, catalysts, technicals, or risk management?

6285%Testing a Separate Account With a New Strategy So Far, So Good

fter more than a decade in the markets, I realized that sometimes the best way to improve is to start fresh

A month ago, I created a separate account dedicated to testing the new framework I’m working on. I’ve changed my trading strategies by using different asset selection criteria, implementing stricter risk management practices, and making more cautious decisions regarding when to buy stocks. I no longer try to chase gains blindly, nor engage in excessive trading

So far, the results have been encouraging, and more importantly, the process has been much more consistent than some of my previous approaches

I'm not claiming to have found some magic formula. Markets change, and every strategy goes through good and bad periods. But I like documenting the journey and sharing what I'm learning along the way

If anyone is experimenting with new systems or refining their process, I'd be interested to hear what has worked for you

Aiming to retire in ~5 years

I’m 48 years old with a little over 17 years in the markets.I’ve lived through phases where everything felt untouchable, and others where the market humbled me hard enough to force a full reset. What finally worked wasn’t swinging for the fences it was building a system that’s stable, repeatable, and puts risk management first.

Over the past 6 months, things have been moving in the right direction again . No lottery trades, no YOLOs just execution, position sizing, and discipline

The plan is simple:Reach ~$5M within the next 5 years, retire quietly, and spend that time traveling the world with my wife

Wish everyone successful trading!
