Just one nit about Klaus
Put aside that he’s a man’s mind trapped in a fish body, that he can breathe simply by being in contact with water, speak without vocal cords, smoke without lungs, grab objects without fingers, drive a car despite having no feet, use guns, play basketball, and perform countless tasks requiring fine motor skills, yet somehow can’t remove books from the top of his own bowl.
Put aside that he doesn’t appear to age, that the Smiths keep him alive by feeding him and regularly changing his water despite barely tolerating his existence, that he somehow retained his human memories and personality despite now possessing the brain of a goldfish, and that nobody seems particularly concerned by any of this.
Put aside that the CIA developed a technology capable of transferring a human consciousness into another living organism, thereby solving identity transfer, infiltration, and arguably mortality itself, then decided to use this civilization-altering breakthrough during the Cold War not to reshape geopolitics, intelligence gathering, medicine, or warfare, but to make an East German skier lose an Olympic medal.
Put aside that the existence of this technology should have completely transformed human history decades ago.
What really has me wondering is why Klaus still lives with the Smiths.
He’s clearly unhappy there.
Nobody likes him.
He can leave.
But he doesn’t.
But then again, it’s a cartoon.
Administratorio, where biters come complain and protest about your factory instead of attacking you, is now in beta !
Hi everyone!
Administratorio is now in beta !
Administratorio is a Factorio overhaul where biters don’t attack your factory anymore. Instead, they come complain about it. They queue at an administration desk, file complaint tickets, get increasingly frustrated, and eventually protest inside your factory. So instead of solving problems with turrets, you solve them with forms, permits, approvals, taxpayer money, and the quiet despair of office work. And of course, you can't just build you factory, you need to get permits for that, regulations, fill out forms, carbon offset certificates, resolve OSHA violations, and everything that is so fun in real life!
The big new thing in beta is that you can now hire biters! Once their complaints are resolved, they can become workers. They are needed to authorize certain buildings before they can craft, and they can also transport items around with Biterports. Basically, they are your early logistics workforce until robots show up and take their jobs, because apparently even Factorio needed labor market anxiety.
It is still very much a beta. Balance will change, bugs will happen, Space Age compatibility is not there yet, and I fully expect someone to build a cursed municipal megabase that breaks something in a way I could never have imagined.
Feel free to give it a try and experience real administrative anxiety in your favorite game, during your free time!
Gosh this scene makes me laugh so bad every time ! So funny to watch them fight from nowhere 😂😂😂🤣 Is this a reference to something ?
Just updated my mod Administratorio with a lot of cursed things like logistics biters, rideable biter, trained biters that are required to go and start you machines...
