HOLY SHIT?
Old ass cissexual judges in the Utah Supreme Court in 2021 understood perfectly well that trans people change their sex. This is not an impossible or ridiculous concept. I’m, uh, gagged

This would be a middle-grade book. Has to have been published by 2012 at the absolute latest. It’s about 2 boys who are friends. At one point one of the kids’ parents are away and they try eating pesto? I think they mistake it for toothpaste but at the very least there is pesto involved. I’m pretty sure one of the kids is named Graham.
It’s realistic fiction, humor focused, and not a comic. The author may have been from Utah or a Mormon but I’m not sure.
I also remember a plot thread about the main character being in A Christmas Carol play at school. He’s one of the Cratchit kids who isn’t Tiny Tim and his only line is about plum pudding. It’s possible this is from a different book but if you remember what it is I’d also love to know.
First of all, I think it’s silly when people say “you don’t really care how I am.” If I ask how you are, and you say “bad,” then I’ll say “I’m sorry to hear that,” and maybe be especially conscientious around you since I know you’re in a bad mood. Or you could say, “not great, I think I’m sick,” and now I know not to stand too close. Plenty stands to be gained here.
But even if it’s just the same exact rote interaction every day, it’s very helpful. Especially for coworkers. Once you’ve greeted someone and established that you’re both on good enough terms to not immediately attack each other (always of concern for someone as socially inhibited as I am), working alongside each other in silence is no longer awkward. You have established an acceptable rapport for the day. Without that, it just feels weird.

I like pop music that feels like it’s punching me in the face sonically. (I like other genres too, but I’m mostly looking for pop here.) No subtlety involved. A couple songs that fit this criteria for me:
IPHONE by Rico Nasty
Von Dutch by charli xcx
Gold Trans Am by Kesha
I’ve been getting recommended endless posts of teenagers who can’t go on T yet being told they need to stop dying their hair if they want to pass and the mod is literally transmedicalist legend kalvin garrah. idk it’s kinda funny is he on this sub do you think
“Trans men don’t care if they’re attractive they just want to look male” well call me faketrans idgaf “go gym” I could have the body of a svelte twink with gyno if I had a penis it’s my fucking disgusting face it’s so repulsive holy shit I wish I looked like a human being I am REALLY GROSS. I guess this isn’t a trans thing. I would not be attractive as a girl either. Features are not always masculine or feminine some of them are universally considered ugly and these include: prematurely wrinkly, ridden with acne, bright red skin, horrible and disgusting. Also unattractive: excessive preoccupation with one’s physical appearance. Therefore I am now over it but just letting you know it’s gross out here looking at myself in the mirror or a photograph or at all it’s actually gross
my dad sent me a package addressed to my real name, which he has never called me before. Major dad win
