Brass tankard

Brass tankard

Hey, I ordered this tankard off of Vinted, asked the guy if it was suitable for drinking or just decoration and he said it’s been drunk from before and just needed a clean. Well, it came and there was a dead spider in it still and in rough state. I really want to be able to drink from this tankard for my DnD games but I don’t feel safe drinking from it.

I’ve already had a good go at it with lime juice and baking soda with a microfibre cloth and it definitely looks better but I still wouldn’t drink from it.

Any advise greatly appreciated, I considered using it more as a can holder and still drinking from a can but I still want to give it another go.

The photo is when I first got it before I cleaned it a little, I’ll post the current state down in the comments

This window thing?

Hope I tagged this right-

I see people talking about these window things means someone’s trying to get access to your computer, and I get quite a lot pop up when I book up my laptop and my pc and now I’m getting paranoid someone has access to my stuff.

They pop up for like two seconds and then disappear so I caught this picture very quickly

Am I being fearmongered/being silly or what?

What am I doing wrong with my clasps?

I tried several times, went through a lot of wire and the clasp doesn't look as neat and pretty as the youtube videos I've watched are.

My though process is that my wire isn't thick enough. I don't know the gauge, it was a gift and the roll doesn't say the gauge on it but is there anything else in missing?

Also yes, a mismatch kf silver and gold because I have no silver clasps or crimps and no gold jump loops

What do I do with crystal chips with no holes?

So I ordered new chips, needed a restock, filled them into their respected boxes, left em for a few days because I didn't feel like making anything until now and I have discovered that none of the new ones have holes, what can I do with them instead of elastic bracelets?

How do I make cooked chicken look more appealing?

This is probably a stupid question but I'm a terrible cook but I'm trying to get better. The chicken I cook is always a very pasty white and imnotetty sure that's fine but how do I get my chicken to crispen up? I'm cooking a Ceaser salad u on with chicken breast right now and the chicken just looks bland and boring compared to some videos I've seen of people cooking chicken where it all nice and crispy.

What's the method to make my chicken look less boring and bland?

About two boxes of beads spilt everywhere because the clasps weren’t on right and I was rushing to put stuff away

I don’t think the photos quite do it justice

Edit: I would like to clarify that I’m very anal with my jewellery kit. I have everything sectioned to my liking based on whatever rules I made up on why these beads should go in this box and share a box with these other beads

Edit edit: if anyone still sees this, I spent about two hours, and only filled four sections, and then promptly gave up because it was midnight at that point and have banded sit to my desk to deal with because I was too tired

What does railroad territory start?

I was going to ask this at DMAcademy but I figured it would be better to hear from players too.

I’m literally just watching a YouTube video about prep methods because i wanted to give some alternatives a go and someone mentioned flowcharts.

The players start here, your flowchart says that clues could lead them to either location A, or B. If they go to A, the next clues could take them to C or even back over to B. But they said that that could start to get a little railroady.

To me, that doesn’t feel like a railroad, maybe because I run my games quite linear with a story so a lot of locations and people are important to progress so I like to ensure my players do end up at said locations. I do this already just without the visual flow chart where instead I just write it down in bullet points and stuff.

So, to the DM’s and players, would you feel railroaded if you found out that’s how your DM preps? That yes you made a choice to go to this location but it also leads back to the other location?

How to start youtube?

Like a /lot/ of people I've always wanted to do youtube but I was like seven, had nothing to make content about and very shy.

Now I’m older I have hobbies and such and I want to make videos which are like blogs(?) I suppose of me making my dnd campaign.

Thing is I have no idea where to start, what I’m doing and am still really shy.

I have an Iphone and a dream basically. I'm aware my content will probably be low quality but I think it would be fun for me to see where my campaign went from its early stages and then I could document how each session went, possibly recording said sessions or if not debriefing how it went, maybe clips.

What should I know? What do I absolutely /need/. Bearing in mind I have a very small budget, and don't really want to splash out on something I plan to do as a hobby. I dotn expect to get super popular or anything so I don't want to get expensive kit.

Any advice is appreciated :)

EDIT: I also want to ask- how do you think I could make the debriefs more entertaining? I don't think I want to do a full 5-6 hour long video of our sessions because 1: I don't want out games to go from casual beer and pretzel games to feeling like we need to preform and 2: I don't have the storage for that type of thing. I don't want to just talk at the camera “we did this, then this happened, then we did this” because that will get boring to make and to watch. I was thinking maybe drawing little figures, I can't draw at all but I could try and then move the figures, or get a picture of our faces. But then I still don't know

Don't know if anyone will see this post at this point but oh well 😄
