I don't know for sure if the fish is sick but I don't know for sure but just to make sure! It's Inna 5 gallon that's already set up and cycled! It's swimming around, the fins look good, color is fine, not showing signs of stress, ect but it hasnt eaten but I did get it yesterday! (The water is cloudy bc the sand)
Soooo the pleco I got is a common pleco instead of a dwarf pleco and it'll grow 10-12 inches and need a 75-100 gallon tank. I'm getting a 29 gallon tank and the pleco is already like 5 inches and if it out grows that 29 gallon tank I don't know what I'm supposed to do. I wasn't even supposed to get a pleco or corycats whos stuck in a 10 gallon for now. What do I do if it out grows this tank? I can't let him be in too small of a tank and I love him but what else can I do? No one I know has a 75 gallon or wants such a large fish and I can't throw him outside obviously
So I got a pleco and 3 corycats given to me randomly. They're in a 10 gallon temporarily and I have fluvial stratum bc I thought I was going to be given a beta but the pleco and corycats keep messing with the fluvial stratum and it's making the water very cloudy and I wan tto switch substrate but I don't know what is ok for both
If you look at my last post youd see that I was randomly giving the pleco and corycats and they're in a TEMPORARY 10g till may 10 and this is my 20g layout for now! Ik my editing skills are the best0

So my grandma was moving but she had 2 angel fish, 3 corycats and a pleco. The angel fish sadly passed from stress or something and grandma got sad. I've been looking into tanks for a year now and I luckily set up my tank in march and it's ready but I've been looking into getting a beta and chili rasboras. My grandma gave me the corycats and pleco, thank god it only grows to 6 inches, but I have them in a 10 gallon tank which is very temporary. I'm getting a 20 gallon on may 10th and properly setting it up. I know NOTHING about these fish but I want to take care of them. Any advice or tips is amazing!
