Yellow Motherboard Gameboy Pocket Mod

I've recently bought a junk gbp with a beautiful yellow motherboard, so I decided to put it in a clear shell with some matching buttons and give it an IPS upgrade :-)

I've also made a little video of the progress in case anyone is enjoying these.

Gameboy modding video

Hey!

I am a hobby modder and I recently decided to record some of the stuff I do on video.

Personally, I like having some restoration videos running in the background while working or gaming and I thought others might enjoy that too!

I don't do this for the clicks (and it's by no means professional) but I am still open for any suggestions on improving the viewing experience!

That being said, it's really just a byproduct of enjoying my hobby :)

No Voice, just some subtitles for commentary. Hope you enjoy it!

NDS Lite Speakers not working anymore after desoldering Headphone Jack

Hi! I am currently attempting to build a GBP-103 (basically putting an NDS Lite into a Gameboy Pocket Case) and for that I had to remove the Headphone Jack.
I thought I could just attach a speaker to the SPR0 (or SPL0) and ground pin (which worked while the headphone jack was still there), but now I don't get any audio anymore.
My guess is that the motherboard "thinks" there are headphones attached and therefore doesn't output audio through speakers. Does anybody maybe know a way to fix that problem?
Any help is greatly appreciated! :)

Is this ndslite GBA slot beyond repair?

I've bought a damaged ndslite (broken top screen, broken hinge etc.) very cheap that I am using to practice my soldering skills. I managed to solder a resistor between the LEDA2 and C2 contacts, so that the ndslite worked with only one screen and I was able to play GBA games on it.

But then I've tried to desolder the GBA slot and for the life of me couldn't manage to desolder a single pin. I was only able to desolder these mount things on the left and right (i don't know what they're called), but trying to remove the right one, I've accidentaly ripped out some of the gba pins and also destroyed the plastic pretty badly while trying to desolder the pins. (I would of course have stopped earlier if this wasn't my practice device.)
Now the GBA slot doesn't recognize games anymore. Do you think this is beyond repair?
I will still practice on this board (especially now that it doesn't work anymore, lol).

Thanks for any help! I still want to try to desolder that GBA slot and now ordered some low melt solder, as I've read that it helps a lot with this task.
