What is the name of this jazz subgenre

I loveeee jazz but i like sad melancholy jazz that is not vocal. Like what would you listen too at 3am with a whiskey and a black cat, or making a deal in the alleys of new york on a rainy night but not with simple melodies i like to hear many instruments. Like a billie holiday kinda vibe.

Does anyone feel like depression went away too fast?

I am not saying that I wasn’t depressed for a long time intact i was, for 3 years having suicidal thoughts and in the last three months everything changed depression would go away for one week and then comeback the week after which was harder than being depressed full-time and after it it just disappeared. And it made me feel that everything i went through is fake and i was just going through a phase and one of those teens who fakes depression ik it’s not true but you would expect a harder finale battle not because you actually wanted it just because leaving something who felt familiar should be harder and not instant where it would leave you feeling the way i felt.

How to know if i am choosing the program in college.

I want to study economics with the goal of studying finance. And i have to options(programs) the first uni has a European system so i can’t major in anything i study pure economics in my bachelor and then if i would like to have a finance degree i master in it, but they assured me that many of there students work in finance after their bachelor even tho they have an economics degree. The second one is more like a school of business and they don’t have econ they will let you choose your path in the first year wether it’s finance accounting management so there i can have a finance degree. I want your help with knowing which one is better from your pov and some tips to know what to look for when comparing them ( do i look at their alumni their subjects etc…). Because i really don’t want to end up with a degree that i won’t benefit from it.

I want a book about the ussr.

I want to read a book about the beginning of the ussr ( the revolution)the peak of it and it’s fall. And I don’t want something super hard like academy level because i am a beginner reader. I am pretty well educated on communism but the most important thing is to be neutral ( sorry if my english is bad).

Next year i will be going to college, i want to have a finance degree but i am torn between choosing the faculty of economics and the faculty of business. I am great at analytical thinking and problem solving and i LOVE economics, it’s my favorite subject. So is studying economics better than studying business if the goal is a degree in finance?
