Why does NIMBY Rails statistics freeze and reset after a while?

I like seeing the boarded train count goes up, but whenever I do, after a while it freezes, and then sometimes, when I load the game again, it resets to before the last time I opened the game, negating all the progress. It's really annoying. Is there any way to fix that?

When I edit a line, it's not snapping to any other lines, or to itself. Does anyone else have that issue?

That's not a new feature is it? That'd be a horrible one
