I’ve had to give it a tuneup and also replace the valve cover gasket. I bought it for around $2500

New crackle present in audio from TEAC Syncaset 124, gets progressively worse as it stays powered on. Any advice?

After replacing the belts about a year ago, I’ve messed around with this thing for countless hours without problems until now. The crackle is just barely picked up by the left vu meter. I also used a feedback patch to amplify the noise for demonstration. Usually this would just create a clean-ish pitch. I really don’t know what component might be causing this. Do I check everything with a multimeter?

I miss sake

For a while I was drinking sake pretty often, trying to learn all the varieties and such. I went a little too far one night and now I can’t stand the taste of sake, my body rejects it. Drink safe you all

I got these sony ss-512 speakers for cheap, but when I hooked them up to my receiver, I found that the woofers on either one don’t output sound. I’m pretty sure it isn’t a compatibility issue either. Could I possibly fix them with re-capping or anything? A lot of the components look glued in place, which is annoying
