Is Oscar Tully going to die in season 4?
I like Oscar a lot and I think he has a good chance to survive season 4 considering the characters he's based on (Benjicot and the Tullys) all survived too.
But the one thing going against his survival is what I call the Daemon-curse. I do think Daemon likes Oscar, feasting with him, loyal, balls of steel.
But all Daemon's friends always seem to end up dying.
Roderick (though he was happily suicidal), Simon and Luthor. I think Oscar is his only remaining friend left no?
And a lot of deaths have been moved up and/or changed from the book haven't they? So I'm worried for my boy.
Any reason why Ryam is such a renowed kingsguard? [Spoilers PUBLISHED]
I have reread fire and blood for the fifth time now, and I still don't get it. Sure, Ryam won a lot of tournaments, but that's not really something that's important to his 'job' as kingsguard. A kingsguard should protect the king and his family, and that's something we've (I think) never heard Ryam doing.
It's not entirely his fault, of course, as Jaehaerys was a good enough king to not get in many conflicts (and if he did get in 'trouble', he solved it himself with his dragon or a trial-by-combat).
But still, compared to my main man Gyles Morrigen, what did Ryam ever do?
Gyles:
- became the lord commander after slaying one of Maegor's kingsguard
- became his first lord commander
- trained the king
- Guarded the king in 1-1 audiances
- led the kingsguard to dragon stone for the standoff to protect his incestuous marriage (which says a great deal about his honor, as his uncle was Damon the Devout who would've probably been against such a marriage)
- Saved Alyssane (together with Dogett)
- Was arguebly the king's third most trusted ally behind Barth and his wife, seen by him being send to Braavos for diplomacy
- Was not someone who defended his brother's (Lucamore's) oathbreaking, something which we know other kingsguard did
- Is the one who selected kingsguard replacements for Samgood and Victor after they died of the shivers, and did so based on skill instead of trying to appease
- etc.
Does this not make him a better kingsguard than Ryam?
My honest conclusion is that GRRM initially intended them to be the same character, but realised that he'd have to make a man over 100y old and thus split him up into two characters instead, and thus Gyles was created.
But that's all from me folks. What do you think?
Question: What Pokémon would Cote-characters have?
Ignore this post if you aren't interested/aren't familiar with Pokémon. But I'm currently writing a Pokémon x Cote fanfic, and have most teams largely planned out but for some characters I can't come up with fitting Pokémon.
Can you guys help with that? (full teams of 6 if possible)
Also I think this post isn't again the rules? But if it is let me know and I'll remove it.
Which major character do you think will get expelled next?
So in Y3V4 we got the expulsion of >!Shinohara,!< but I don't consider that a major expulsion to be honest.
Other expulsions that are almost guaranteed to happen are >!Ike Kanji!< and >!Hiyori!<, though I hope I'm wrong about the latter.
But when we're talking about major characters that would get expelled, not some fodder like I>!ke, Komiya, Kondo, etc.!<, who do you think could be the next realistically? (apart from>!Hiyori !<and >!Ike Kanji!<, if you consider those as a major characters)
My best guesses are the following:
>!Hashimoto:!< He's my second favorite character in the series behind Ichinose, but I fear he will get his karma sooner or later. Morishita has also voiced on many occassions that they should get rid of him, like how she proposed him as an expulsion candidate in Y3V3. Only chance he has is Ayanokoji finding him to useful to lose, and even then he might want to expel him to protect >!Hiyori!< so he can explore his feelings and learn about himself more.
>!Shiraishi!<: Connected to white room somehow, actively plotting for/against him, and idk if Ayanokoji will like that if he finds out (if he hasn't already).
>!Albert!<: I love him a lot, but with Katsuragi having transferred to his class his role feels more redundant? Katsuragi is silent and stoic too, but he has had more screentime and relevance as a former leader of Class A and someone Ryuuen trusts to help him plan. I hope I'm wrong about this one too, since he's >!Albro!<.
>!Hirata:!< shown more of his darkside in the recent volumes, against Hashimoto and Ryuuen, and I think this sets up his downfall/sacrifice for his classmates that'll finally force Horikita to take the reigns.
>!Nananse!<: connected to the white room, decided to trust Ichika which is a big gamble in itself, and is currently in conflict with the phone-merchant who's supposed to be a major threat. Her expulsion would bring more credibility to >!Ishigami's !<status as an antagonist.
>!Also I typed out Ike Kanji in the spoiler text because if I just typed Ike, then the spoiler text would become redundant because the size of the black box would've made it obvious who I was talking about.!<
Fantasy ending
Okay so I'm forever part of the KiyoNami agenda, but I fear our girl will receive some bad karma soon considering how she's only gotten Ws in year 3.
Therefore, I think Mako will be expelled, her best friend.
Now, what I want to happen is that this expulsion changes her again, and somehow she and Kiyotaka grow closer because of it. And then, when they graduate, instead of heading back to the white room, Kiyotaka is picked up by Shiro in his lambo, Mako besides him (Shiro was her crush), and Honami joins the three of them.
Absolute cinema
Anyway just wanted to put that out there. Nothing serious. Just fantasy.
How would you guys ranked all of the first prince's soldiers?
Just curious about how you guys feel about each soldier, and I want to see them discussed more.
You can rank them however you want (eg. power, usefulness to Benjamin, contribution to the cause, enjoyment to read, nen ability, intellect, etc.)
Just please mention based on what you ranked them.
There are 15 in total: the 14 shown in this picture and Balsemico Might.
I look forward to reading your guy's rankings!
Also, in case you guys are curious about my own rankings (which I will do based on how much I like each character), it's here:
- Furykov/Yurikov (idk which one is the official): This recent batch has made my respect for him skyrocket. He's capable, intelligent, has a cool nen-ability, is unhunging in a funway, incredibly loyal, and just all-around amazing to read. Depending on how he dies, he might surpass Hinrigh as my favorite succession war introduced character.
- Babimyna: Intelligent and capapble like Yurikov, but also just a good person I think, given by how he stopped monitoring queen Oito after Momoze's death. He is capable of empathy
- Balsemico Might: Short king, incredibly intelligent apart from the blunder he made when he tried to assasinate Halkenburg. Still, I love him a lot.
- Rihan: Predator is SUCH A COOL NEN-ability, and I like his design too. And no, I'm not bothered by his 'text-block-ability'.
- Kanjidol: Might be recency bias, but I like his design and how menacing he is. He's also, unlike the characters mentioned above here, not too intelligent, which makes his recklessness entertaining to read.
For the other characters, I don't really know how to rank them as most of them I don't think have demonstrated enough to be ranked, but I do look forward to see how Saquelle tries to survive Hanzo and Biscuit since he's guarding the thirteenths prince. I also really like Chiyamasi's nen ability, so he'd rank top 10 too. Last on the ranking would be asshole Vincent.
That's all. I might revisit this after Benjamin win/dies, or the succesion contest is over.
Happy Birthday to the best girl
Made a collage of my favorite Honami illustrations to celebrate her birthday :)
Down?
Is Wattpad down again for the second time today?
Qual garota vocês mais gostariam de ver com o ayanokoji no futuro?
reddit.comIs Honami 1 year older than the other students in her grade?
So apparently this is an old theory I wasn’t fully aware of, and u/Keyakidude explained it to me and it has me worried?
I do apologize for the weird wording, since I'm trying to paraphrase someone else's theory and English isn't my first language, but I do hope you guys can give your opinion.
The basis of this theory is Ichinose Honami’s student ID. It breaks the ongoing pattern compared to the rest of her grade.
Usually boy’s IDs are lower than girls, but Ichinose is an exception. Her ID is lower than any boy in her grade, being closer to the girls of Nagumo's grade than any student from her own grade. And this same student ID has also not been retconned, still viewable on the official Y3 site.
Furthermore, Ichinose has been involved with Nagumo’s grade ever since the second years were really introduced. She was the first person (along Manabu) to mention him, and was under his spell for a long time like the rest of the second years.
And then there is a cryptic conversation in Y1V9 were both Sakayanagi and Nagumo imply to know something else about Ichinose that is not the shoplifting. This is again hinted after Honami successfully defends the ‘shoplifting-attack’, and Sakayanagi wanting to start another attack (maybe reveal her real age) before Nagumo steps in and stops her. Sakayanagi does stop, but gives her a warning “that from this day on, people will subconsciously view Ichinose differently and her backstory might come back and bite her again in the future.”
Then in Y2V9 when Ichinose wants to become the SCP, she immediately drops out after Kiryuin storms in complaining about being framed for shoplifting. The official reason for her drop-out is ‘reminded of her past’. But maybe there’s a possibility that she’s afraid that if she’s campaigning in the spotlight whilst another shoplifting accident takes place, people will look into her more closely and discover her secret (of being 1y older).
Also maybe Ichinose did what Kiryuin couldn’t do since retaking a year is impossible? Maybe she enrolled a year later because of certain reasons?
Finally, there’s Ichinose’s little sister who’s 2 years younger than her. If she did exist, wouldn’t she have likely been introduced in y3 as there are literally no prominent y1 characters now? (except the rumored physical girl).
I know this post is a little vaguely worded, and I hope u/Keyakidude drops in here to explain some more, but here is:

Cote Season 5
Ayone else not looking forward to season 5 of COTE at all? I mean there'll barely be any Honami, and the only Honami we'll see is her getting her heart broken and her sad self after...
Sad
Question about Haruka (SPOILER FOR Y3V4)
So I like Haruka, but she unfortunatly is not my favorite either. She's top 5 girls for me though, so I wanted to ask something to those more well-versed on her current contributions to the story.
Are you guys feeling anxious for her future? After reading Y3V4, and it basically being confirmed that she betrayed her class for Ayanokoji in some way (likely told him the VIPs), I fear that Ayanokoji may cut her off as 'a rotten branch'.
I don't want that though. I like her and want her to be happy.
What do you guys think?
My Hot Take
Am I the only one who prefers Leyden over Loki?
I can't really explain it. Maybe it's the design I like more? Maybe I like his Naruto aura more? Maybe it's because he performed consistently throughout the game? Maybe it's cause he has (a Raichi type) personality?
What do you guys think? Am I weird for this?
MasterKoji Fanfic
Yo guys my new fanfic has started, give it a shot if you like (Pokemon x Cote)
Will she get expelled?
So I am worried Honami is going to get expelled.
I don't think it will happen soon though, but somewhere at the end of the year.
I fear that at least one more class leader is going to get expelled for 'impact', and we know it's not going to be Ayanokoji or Horikita. Ryuuen with his violent behavior could also be a candidate, but I think that's too obvious.
I also feel like there has been forshadowing in first year with 'unfit for school comments' and Ayankoji stating that 'he will finish her off'.
And then finally, the reasing I hate myself for even thinking about, is that her expulsion is needed to have Horikita be the 'final girl' without Honami crashing out when it happens since that would be to difficult to write. With her out of school Horikita-Ayanokoji could progress more easily
Am I right in my worries, or am I overthinking it. Please tell me it's the latter, but also don't lie to comfort me.
Anyways that's it for my small rant, peace out
Cote Timeline
Guys I am working on a project and I'm wondering if there's a timeline where the exact/estimated date of each event (preferably in order) is written down?
I want to write but I'm afraid I'm pacing too slow/too fast and want to verify by date if possible :)
Okay that's all sorry if that was a dumb question
My complaint about y3v4
Shinohara expelled doesnt really have an impact i think. It also once again decredits Horikita as a leader. (Victory handed to her by Koji + couldn't save classmate.)
Imo, it would've been better if Hiyori/Ibuki got expelled. Ibuki's expulsion would be a test for Horikita (remember Koji's question) whereas Hiyori's would have maybe developed Kiyo (feels love/sadness/regret/something) and Honami wouldn't be reduced to a mere Yandere character.
Also, if either of Ibuki/Hiyori got expelled it would 1) hit the readers more since we care for them unlike Shinohara 2) maybe finally make Horikita and Ryuuen realize that they should form a temporary alliance (Hirata and Ryuuen also worked together this volume so it could be a 'test run' so to speak)
So basically I think someone else should've been expelled and Kushida getting her vengeance later.
What do you guys think? Valid or nah?
