Out of the .45 game?

The only striker fired .45 ACP pistols SA lists are all neutered capacity models for California and I'll bet when inventories of those are gone they won't be replaced.

The XDM models are all gone, there's no Echelon.

It appears that SA no longer cares about the .45 ACP market.

You sick motherfuckers....

always manage to brighten my day. When I'm really feeling down, or feeling shitty from the poison I have to take, I just come in here and it uplifts my soul.

Semper Fi brothers.

Fuzzy brain and I need help!

Ok, bear with me. I'm all fuzzy brained from this weeks dose of poison.

I have a Griffin REV9 and a SilencerCO Octane 45 2.0.

Both are currently running trilug systems and I really want to switch them to Plan B.

But my fuzzy brain just isn't putting the parts together today.

I have a plethora of Plan B muzzle devices that will work. What mounts do I need for the two suppressors??

Thanks!

Damn that was good!

I love beer. I've tasted over 700 different beers.

But due to needed medications I had to quit drinking it back in 2012.

My wife picked up a few cans of Samuel Adams Just The Haze near beer.

Damn, that's good stuff. I can finally enjoy that nice hoppy flavor again!

Happier than a pig in warm mud!

I finally scored a Great Eight!!!!

It's the MK II 22/45 version which makes it a little more special to me as I didn't have a MK II 22/45 in my collection.

This brings me closer to having every MK II barrel length.

I have the 4", 5.5, 6", 6.875, 8", and 10".

Sorry if you were the other person bidding on the gun.

Approval for 4/10 submission!

Like the title says. I just got an approval for a 4/10 submission for a tube.

At this point I'm wondering if I'm going to see approvals for all my April submissions, 38 of them, before I get the kilt I ordered in April?

This approval brings me down to 117 pending submissions, but I have two items on the way that I will need to submit. A PSA ARV kit, and a Browning BPS shotgun.

Recent conversation

So Munchkin the Wonder Chicken jumped on the towel rack in the bathroom when I went in there.

He wouldn't come with me and started calling Memaw, he was telling her he needed a drink.*

She said he didn't need a drink because he had just had one. He yelled "Come here". My wife said "I'm not coming in there".

Munchkin says "Yes you are". Munchkin won.

As far as the drink. Munchkin will only drink water one way. Hot and out of a glass. He's the King and we are his servants.

Munchkin the wonder chicken!

Munchkin is our 14 year old Goffin's. He's always been REALLY smart. But today, he really surprised us.

On Sunday afternoons my wife and I take a shower together. I have a failed back and have a hard time getting everything clean on my own.

Munchkin has a shower perch and it's almost impossible to take a shower without him.

So he's on my chest getting some daddy love and my wife lowers the couch recliner where she sits.

Munchkin pops up and asks "are we going to take a bath?".

I just finished blow drying him because he loves to take a bath in the shower.

How he knew we were going to take a bath I have NO idea unless he can track the days.

Ruger Redhawk 5050 or S&W 25?

I'm really torn on which of these to buy.

The Ruger will take .45 Colt loads into .44 Mag territory and allow me to shoot .45 ACP.

The S&W will either shoot .45 Colt or .45 ACP, and won't take .45 Colt loads like the Ruger can handle.

Is it possible?

I'll admit I probably missed something, but is it possible to build a multirail system and have everything automatically connected between the multirail stations?

Or do I have to continue to manual attach the three rails?

Where's the ammo?

I was looking around for some Agulia SV ammo today and it seems to be OOS everywhere, not only that there seems to be a general shortage of .22 LR, especially anything standard velocity or subsonic.

I'm guessing the $0 tax stamp means a lot of new shooters with rimfire cans.

Folic Acid....really works.

My original post.

On the advice of several of you I doubled my folic acid to 2 mg a day.

What a difference. I took my methotrexate on Tuesday, got a bit sick on Tuesday. Wednesday was hell, today I'm all bright and chipper.

So instead of feeling like shit most of the week I might have it down to a day or two

Of course the mouth sores showed up over the weekend. It seems my body is trying to show all the side effects of the metho. Still dealing with being very easily fatigued though.

I pulled it off...

100 pending Form 1's.

175 F1's filed this year and I still have a few SBR's to go. I have a FM45 lower at my FFL that I need to pick up and eight or so AR lowers to go.

I'm really thinking I should invest in a fiber laser.

Well I met my goal today.

100 F1 suppressors either approved or submitted. I have 40 approved and 62 more to go in the hopper.

I've also been doing Form 1's on all my AR lowers, SBSing almost all my shotguns, and SBRing many of my rifles.

I still am feeling the need to submit just a few more F1 suppressors.

Am I mentally ill???

Kicking my ass...

I'm taking 20 mg of methotrexate a week and it's kicking my ass.

I take it on Tuesday. Come Wednesday and Thursday I'm beat, I feel like I was rode hard and put away wet. Nauseous, hurt all over, and generally feel like shit. Friday and Saturday can go either way. Sunday and Monday are about the only two days of the week where I feel "normal".

Most of my sarcoidosis is in my chest. Lower lungs with scarring and ground glass and enlarged lymph nodes.

I just got the results of my echocardiogram and thankfully my heart is normal.

I have a lot of coughing at night. I'm already dealing with a failed back and have been for a long time. Coughing is really tough on the back.

I'm really hoping that my body will adapt to the methotrexate and I'll start feeling better. I know I'm in for the long haul with this bitch but right now it seems that the "cure" is worse than the disease.

65 year old male. Diagnosed late last year. I've had it for at least two years before that.

Involvement with right eye, biopsy of mass there diagnosed sarco. I also have deep in my lungs, possible cardiac, still waiting on that, and it seems to be attacking my joints also.

I did a prednisone surge, starting with 30 mg, and started methotrexate. Now down to 2.5 mg of prednisone with only a week left before we cut it off. Currently taking 15 mg of methotrexate. 7.5 mg every Tuesday morning, and 7.5 mg every Tuesday night.

I also have a failed back. Going on 14 years dealing with that joy.

This sarcoidosis in my lungs is driving me nuts with the coughing, which aggravates my back, which causes me to start shallow breathing, which leads to more coughing. It's a very vicious circle.

Sadly I take way too many pills everyday dealing with health problems, chronic pain, and the depression that goes hand in hand with the chronic pain.

It will be nice to have people to talk to who understand my problems.

Thanks!
