Just picked this up today! My watch collection consists of 12 or so automatics, across different brands and price categories. But no watch collection is complete without one of these right?

It's a super fun piece! I'm looking forward to doing some light modding - maybe a light spreader and a filter. The black F-91WB also looks super clean. I might have to pick up one of those as well. Hopefully this isn't a gateway drug... 😂

Got this for $260 because the coupon stars aligned and I managed to get the $35 PayPal coupon too. I'm pretty sure this is the last 9015 version that was left on the platform, though I know IX&DAO is selling their last remaining stock of them on the website.

Question on the bracelet though: Mine does not have the double spring bar end link. The endlink is pinned to the bracelet, and then theres the spring bar that attaches to the case only. Is this an old design? If other owners can chime in that'd be awesome. The last picture shows my endlink attachment.

I honestly wasn't sure if I was being scammed or not because it was from a reseller store, not the official one.

Everything checks out though. I'm blown away by this watch. Astonishing quality and value.

The one thing that I've noticed is it doesn't have the double spring bar end link. Anyone know if this is a very early model or something? It's either an old or a new bracelet design, I think. Every one I've seen online has had double spring bars. Can owners chime in?

My dad liked my Vesterhav Meteorite so much he had to have his own. My Polaris White is on top, his Kosmos 38 on the bottom. Awesome watches!!

Finally!! This one definitely could have gone a few more days, but still tasted great. The tree is two years old, and this is only my second year growing figs.

Watchdives has announced that all new WD0019's out of their warehouse would ship with V Grade 2130's along with the handset with updated lume.

I'm getting conflicting information online, with some saying V Grade movements are always finished higher than lesser grades (perlage vs sand blasting in areas, different plating).

Is it possible to tell if I received a V Grade Movement just by what can be seen through the caseback? I was assured by WD I'd get the latest version of the watch with updated handset and V Grade movement, so I just want to make sure I got what I was promised and paid for.

I know about the shortages yada yada but this is just comical and very ambitious for Addieskin. 😂

Making IX&DAO look like a complete steal. IX&DAO is however letting everyone know that starting August 1 they are switching to PT5000. I messaged them asking if the case thickness will change and they said yes, and price will remain about the same.

Just thought this was funny and worth sharing.

I think I hit the jackpot for horrible QC with this one. It has pitting marks all over the bracelet, some in very visible areas, debris stuck to the underside of the crystal, and a crooked 6 O'clock marker. The underside of the case, particularly the undercut and the ends of the lugs are razor sharp as mentioned in one review I saw on youtube. They were not kidding, it is uncomfortably sharp.

Some will say "It's a $100 watch, give them a break." - I've had plenty of ultra budget AliExpress watches from various brands and I've never seen something this bad. I'd say the bracelet is the worst part, along with the sharpness of the lugs and underside. The debris under the crystal and misaligned marker can probably just be put down as honest QC mistakes. The bracelet and case however seem to be genuinely poor manufacturing.

I hope this doesn't get too many downvotes, I know Addesdive is well regarded here. This isn't meant to be a takedown, just my experience with my sample.

I picked this up on some sort of clearance sale for $49 shipped. Kind of nuts for an NH35 watch nowadays. It's not even really my style but it's taught me that I like white dials. Not a watch I would have considered if it wasn't under $50. They are back up to $76 now I think.

For the price I'm beyond satisfied with my impulse purchase. It wears well with the female endlinks, it's not too thick, the white dial has grown on me, and the lume is better than expected. Push pins is no big deal at this price. Clasp kind of sucks lol.

Would you pick one up for $49?

I threw a spare Henry Archer clasp on my old beater PD-1651. It works surprisingly well, just feels so odd mixing those two brands. 🤣

This is a wedding gift from my parents, well worn now as my wife and I approach our 2nd anniversary.

The Abalone Dial holds serious meaning to me:

My dad got me certified to dive as soon as I was old enough and diving has always been a huge part of his life, and mine. He grew up diving, and he's a PADI Dive Instructor. Diving together means a lot to us, and it's something I'll pass along to my children when they come around (no kids yet). He dove in Monterey Bay California, where I was born, a whole lot. This was back when you could actually take abalone. They'd get their limit every day, and speared enough fish to eat a fresh catch for breakfast, lunch, and dinner every day of the year. Different times - California Spear Fishing is much more locked down now. I have childhood memories of all of the abalone shells he'd keep around, that followed us from move to move.

I'm not sure if Marc ever did more than one run of these, and they were sold out when he went looking for this watch for me. My dad emailed Marc who was kind enough to sell him a photo sample he still had so that my parents could give this to me on my wedding day.

It'll always hold a special place in my heart.

Here's the 4 day on wrist accuracy of my Henry Archer Vesterhav. I only take it off to shower. It's way better than my other Miyota 9015 watch. I know it's a little bit of luck of the draw, so I'm really happy the Henry Archer just so happens to be a golden sample.

If this breaks the WTS/WTT rule please don't permaban me. I'm not trying to circumvent those rules, or sell or trade a watch here. I enjoy this sub and would like to stick around.

Long story short I broke the stem right off the crown of my Fanmis Sterile Dial GMT. I took it out to try to diagnose and hopefully improve stem and setting position function, noticed it was pretty bent, and when I tried to gently straighten it, it just snapped. The watch had trouble hand winding - never seemed to get to the right stem position, and was an overall nightmare to set - but I could with some fiddling set it whenever I wanted to use it.

Movement is a DG3804 I believe, or whatever Pagani and Parnis use in their non Seiko powered GMT's of this style.

If you have a dead/doner one of these and are willing to spare the crown and stem I'd be thrilled! IMO it's not worth it to put $50 into this watch for a new movement. I have much better GMT's now from Islander and other microbrands, but I'd still hate to toss this because of a stupid mistake on my part.

My wife got me this for my birthday. It's an amazing piece! Accuracy of the 9019 has been incredible as well. It's definitely the most unique dial I have now.

Accuracy readings are just quick takes with Watch Accuracy Meter on my phone. 5 positions: Dial Up/Down, Crown Up, Down, Left.

The clear on my trunk has finally gone. I'm looking for suggestions in the realm of professional repair instead spraying the whole car, or blending halfway down the car. The rest of the paint is pretty healthy, probably ready for another ceramic coat when I get around to it.

I really want to preserve as much of the factory paint as possible, I just don't know how that'd be possible with the amount of blending that respraying the trunk would require. It's a 10 sticker car, for whatever that's worth, and LBP - hence me trying to keep it as original as possible.

Yes, it's dirty right now and I have no excuse.

I'm playing around with generating images with Gemini for Hueforge. Kind of corny that it's roaring out lightning, but that's ok! We like to have fun around here. 😂

Are there any milled clips that fit the Micarta Psyop? Mine has bent way out of shape and is very weak. I love this knife and I'm looking for a better solution. I could have very easily lost the knife with the clip not holding it in my pocket.
