Hi everyone! My friend mentioned wanting to get into CDs for their music because he's starting to care about physical media ownership. I think this is great and I want to help him get started on his journey by getting him a CD player + speaker for his birthday. I don't really know whats out there, so I come to you for recommendations.

My friend isn't really an audiophile so he's not going to notice a difference between a really expensive system and a budget one, but I will. I dont want to cheap out but I also have a limited budget of $150. Is there anything out there I can get?
