Birthday ideas?

So it's my spouse's AA birthday and I'm trying to think of a good way to celebrate.

Anyone have any cool or unique ways you celebrate these occasions?

Little help?

So I'm in a tense relationship but it's one I want to fight for because we've been together a long time and I'm crazy about her even with the tense shit.

But I keep seeing all kinds of posts about relational change.

Am I hosed? How does this stuff all work? Is everything sort of predetermined or is it something I could be misreading?

Married to a Taurus and I have questions

So we've been together for 6 years, married 5, friends for 11.

She can be great. Historically we seem to either be dialed in together or we trigger each other. We've been working on this but she also will lash out at times and tell me she isn't attracted to me, twice she's said she thinks she's a lesbian (but that's mostly been to create distance. She recants though I still worry I'm gonna get left behind).

I know Taurus should be grounding for me. But it feels chaotic sometimes. Has anyone else experienced this?

She has a lot of trauma and recovery work under her belt, does that shift how we engage each other energetically? I assume yes but I want some perspective.

Flaky attendance

Hey all. I'm stressing a bit. I'm getting new clients but a lot of my existing are getting flaky about attendance. I'm real tempted to go chase every new client I can find and replace the times of the flaky clients.

Now I get there's clinicals and liability and such. This isn't JUST about cash flow. But I also refuse to take a vow of poverty because 20% of my caseload decides to skip half the month. My kids still get to eat.

How would you approach this?

Frequency?

Hey all. Question:
Do you see clients once a month? I have had a lot of cash pay people who want to keep coming but are scaling to once a month. I considered blocking a specific time slot as once a month and they can take it or leave it but doing this often really mucks up the calendar. I'm almost over the idea of it just because it creates so much scheduling conflict.

Thoughts?

Weird question

Obviously the first thought is "ask my partner." But I'm curious what advice you'd have.

I'm straight (m). My partner is bi (f)
We are in a long term relationship and we are committed to that but I know in the past she has had fantasies about being with a woman again.

Are there sex acts we could do together that would be more feminine that would help her feel grounded in that energy? I don't even know if that's a thing because attraction to a woman isn't about the sex act specifically, but I wonder if there's something she could do with me that might scratch the itch in a way too? (I wondered about pegging or fingering instead of penetration, etc?)

What's the opposite of a praise kink?

Hey all.

So I'm heterosexual M married to a bisexual F (she is good being married but has had sexual experiences w/ women and sort of has some fantasy still about it at times).

She likes being spanked/called a bad girl/hit. She's wanting to role play more and explore our sexual relationship. I am 100000% on board. But it's a new area for me. What are ideas of things I can do/say to meet her in the bad girl energy?

I'm more a switch, and probably lean sub slightly. I'm not super confident in charge because she'll tell me what she wants instead of letting me lead. She doesn't like teasing.

What are some ideas of how I can be more assertive/aggressive in a way she likes? Someone explained as her driving from the sub/bottom on her part b/c she tells me what she wants. I want to build a safe container that she can let me drive.

Newbie dom help?

Hey all.

So I'm a pretty heterosexual M married to a bisexual F (she is good being married but has had sexual experiences w/ women and sort of has some fantasy still about it at times).

She likes being spanked/called a bad girl/hit. She's wanting to role play more and explore our sexual relationship. I am 100000% on board.

But I'm more a switch, and probably lean sub slightly. I'm not super confident being in charge because she'll tell me what she wants me to do to her instead of letting me lead. She doesn't like slow builds/teasing.

What are some ideas of how I can be more assertive/aggressive in a way she likes? I've offered a quiz that lets us both say what we like/are open to try and she refuses just to say "I'll tell you what I want." and I feel a bit shot down in being able to explore together.
