Can this build comfortably handle 4K gaming at 60+fps?

I’m not too well-versed in the PC-building world, (went to a professional builder to build my PC back in early 2025.) Originally, I had a 7800 XT, but I recently upgraded to a 9070 XT.

I wanted to get some opinions on whether the build below is enough to comfortably handle 4K gaming at 60+ FPS in most major AAA titles. I’m only listing the performance-relevant specs since I figure everything else is pretty irrelevant to what I’m asking:

1. 9070xt (Sapphire Pulse)
2. Ryzen 7 9700x
3. Vengaence DDR5 32GB RAM 6000MHz
4. ROG Strix B650E-I Gaming Mobo
5. 850W PSU

I’d love to hear yall’s thoughts! Just want to make sure the rest of my components are still up to par and aren’t holding it back.

Edit: Not looking to run RT, and am okay using Upscaling. Mainly wanted to see if it can run most games in High-Ultra settings

HP Omen Transcend 32” QD-OLED vs LG Ultragear 32GX870A 32” W-OLED for Office/Gaming?

After some careful consideration and hearing different opinions, I’ve ultimately decided I’m going to go with an OLED monitor for both gaming and productivity. I’ll be using it for my usual 8-ish hours of work during the day, then gaming casually at night and on weekends.
I was originally advised to go Mini-LED to avoid the potential burn-in issue, but after looking at the reviews and warranties on some of these newer OLED monitors, I don’t think burn-in is going to be a huge concern for me. Maybe it becomes an issue further down the line, but if I can get 3–4 years out of the monitor and have a solid warranty, I’m honestly okay with replacing it at that point if necessary.

So now I’ve narrowed it down to two options:

HP Omen Transcend 32” QD-OLED
LG Ultragear 32GX870A 32” W-OLED

My biggest question is whether anyone can give me a good breakdown of the practical differences between QD-OLED and WOLED, specifically for productivity and office work.

For reference, the monitor will be in an enclosed office with very little natural light. When the door is closed, there’s essentially no direct sunlight or significant ambient glare, so I’m not sure how much the brightness and environmental differences between QD-OLED and WOLED really matter in my situation.

More specifically, which panel would ultimately be more comfortable for long periods of office work and potentially easier on the eyes? That’s the one piece of the puzzle I haven’t really been able to nail down.

I found both monitors for roughly the same price, so I’m basically trying to decide between the two before pulling the trigger. For anyone who has experience with both, or has made a similar decision, which would you go with for a 50/50 productivity and gaming setup**?**

[REQ] ($590) - (#Davie, Florida, United States), (Repay $630 by 08/19/26), (Cashapp, Paypal, Zelle, Apple Cash)

My company was recently acquired, so there has been a small delay in transitioning to our new payroll provider. As a result, our normal payment schedule has been pushed back by about a week.

That said, my first paycheck under the new system will include a generous work stipend, which is why I’m hoping to take advantage of a computer component I found on Facebook Marketplace at an exceptionally good price. It’s a deal I likely won’t be able to secure later, which is why I’m looking to make the purchase now.

I would be able to repay the loan in full between August 19th and August 21st. I typically receive my paychecks two days early, and I expect that to remain the case with the new payroll provider, but I’m leaving an extra day of flexibility just in case.

I’m more than happy to provide pay stubs, my payroll information, or any other documentation you may need to verify my income and repayment ability. I also have a previous loan history here and have consistently paid my loans back on time.

Modern OLED Monitor for Work / Gaming. Burn in still an issue?

So I’m in a bit of a pickle and I’m curious how much OLED monitor technology has improved in the last year or so.

I really want to upgrade to a top-of-the-line QD-OLED gaming monitor. I’m looking at something like the HP Omen Transcend or an LG UltraGear, but I have a pretty unique setup: I have my MacBook on one side of my desk and my PC on the other, and I switch between the two using the same monitor.

I’ve read a lot about OLED burn-in, and I’m wondering how much of a concern it actually is with the newer OLED monitors that have come out recently. Is burn-in still something I should realistically be worried about? And if so, how long into the monitor’s lifespan does it typically become a potential issue?

The reason I’m asking is that I’d probably use this monitor primarily for work. I’m on my MacBook for 8–9 hours a day for work, then I’ll switch over to my PC and game for maybe 1–2 hours in the evening. On the weekends i’ll game alot more, but the majority of the monitor’s use would be productivity rather than gaming.

Would you guys be comfortable using a modern QD-OLED in this kind of setup, or would I be better off sticking with a Mini-LED to avoid the potential headache down the road?

I really want to take the plunge on OLED because I’d love to have a top-tier monitor, but I also don’t want to spend a ton of money only to end up dealing with burn-in a few years later. Curious what everyone’s experience has been with the newer OLED panels.

Dude, how is Ally bank real lmao

Dude, Ally’s initial bank setup experience might possibly be the worst bank experience on the market right now. I am genuinely in shock at how poor their initial setup experience is. The amount of red flags is insane. I opened the account five days ago, and I already want to completely get rid of it.

Like, if this is how bad Ally is just setting up an account, I cannot imagine what it’s going to be like if I ever have an emergency, actually start getting paid through Ally, or start moving money around. It’s going to be a nightmare. Who in their right mind designed this initial setup?

It took them FIVE DAYS to ship my physical card, which is crazy because most banks ship it almost immediately after you sign up. Then another 5-7 days to arrive?! And most banks have a digital Apple Pay debit card ready to go while you wait for the physical one. Ally, for whatever reason, doesn’t. How is that still a thing?

Then I called customer support, and they told me it would take a day to ship. Four days later, I still hadn’t seen anything. Then the guy straight-up told me it had shipped on the first day, which is crazy because I’m literally looking at my account and there’s nothing showing that. Like, dude… what are we doing here?

And not only that, Zelle transfers take 1–3 days. In what world does any bank not have instant Zelle transfers? That is unbelievable to me.

Like, oh my God, dude. Useless. Ally, Jesus Christ. I seriously regret opening this account. I saw an ad for it on a TikToker’s page and somehow fell for it. I genuinely think this might be the worst experience I’ve ever had with a bank.

And their app is TERRIBLE. Half the buttons don’t even work properly. You have to tap them like six times before anything happens, which is absolutely ridiculous. Even the PIN-code login uses an alphabetical keyboard. Like, are these guys operating in 2007?
Who designed this shit?

All of this is just pathetic. The entire bank experience has been an absolute nightmare so far.

Results all over the place

Apologies if this is frequently asked - new to the sub.

I'm about five days post-op. The first day or two, I noticed what seemed like an immediate improvement in my chest. It didn't look dramatically different, but there was definitely a noticeable change.
I just had my drains removed and took off the bandages, and now that I'm about 5 to 6 days post-op, I'm honestly not sure. It almost looks like there's barely any difference compared to before the surgery. I don't know if that's just swelling or part of the normal healing process.
I'm probably just overthinking it, but I'm a little concerned. I don't know how long it usually takes for the swelling to go down and for the final results to start showing. I just want to make sure that as the weeks go by, with compression and the rest of the recovery process, things continue to improve.

Need some help navigating post-screening questions

Can you help me understand the expectation around asking questions during recruiter screening calls?

I'm finding myself in a difficult position lately. It seems like I'm starting to lose momentum in some screening conversations because of the "Do you have any questions for me?" portion at the end of the call.

I always come into interviews prepared. Before speaking with a recruiter, I've already researched the company, reviewed the products, learned about the founding story, office locations, funding, and other publicly available information. Because of that, it doesn't feel authentic to ask questions that I already know the answers to.
At the same time, when I ask more detailed questions about the role itself (team structure, success metrics, current challenges, account segmentation, customer profiles, or internal processes) recruiters often don't have visibility into those specifics, and they seem to get annoyed when i’m constantly asking about this they don’t know the answer to. That's completely understandable, but it leaves me in an awkward position. If I ask deeper questions, there isn't always an answer available. If I don't ask questions, it can sometimes come across as a lack of interest.

So I'm trying to understand what the best approach is here.
Is it acceptable not to ask questions during an initial recruiter screen if I've already done my research? If questions are expected, what types of questions are recruiters actually looking for at that stage, given that many role-specific details won't be available until I speak with the hiring manager?

I'd appreciate any guidance because I feel like I'm getting conflicting signals and want to make sure I'm handling these conversations appropriately.

100+ Applications, less than 4 interviews - anything I can improve?

Granted, I’m applying within an extremely competitive field (Customer Success), but this is now the fourth iteration of my optimized resume and I still haven’t seen much improvement in traction.

So far, I’ve:

  • Removed the profile/summary section, since most recruiters mentioned it isn’t necessary for mid-level roles
  • Reduced overall wording to make the resume easier to skim quickly
  • Reworked bullet points to lead with measurable results rather than responsibilities
  • Kept the resume to a single page, since that still seems to be the standard for candidates below the Director level

Beginner help! Starting first cycle on tuesday

I’m looking to start my first testosterone cycle and wanted some beginner guidance. I’ve already purchased everything I need, including the vials and syringes, but I want to make sure I approach this as safely and responsibly as possible.

For context, i’m 29 years old and I’ve been taking peptides for the past few months, and about a year ago I used ostarine briefly during a workout phase. I still train consistently today, work out 5–6 days a week, and maintain a solid diet. Mostly doing this to body recomp and gain muscle (genetically never been good at building it).
One thing worth mentioning is that I had bloodwork done about a year ago and my testosterone levels came back pretty low. I haven’t followed up with a doctor or had updated labs since then, so this would not be prescribed or medically supervised, which I understand carries risks.

I’m mainly looking to understand the safest way for a beginner to approach this, including what a conservative starting dose typically looks like, what precautions I should take, and what I should monitor health-wise before getting started. I bought a vial of Test E 300

(Testosterone Enanthate 300mg/1)

[6 YoE, Unemployed, Customer Success Manager, US]

Revised from a much more cluttered original version, hoping this can serve as the final draft. Would love your thoughts on the content, formatting, and overall flow. Of course, I plan to tailor it further depending on the specific job description, but I want to make sure the core structure and messaging are strong.

I’m getting pretty mixed feedback on whether I should include an executive summary or not. The main issue is that if I add one, I probably won’t be able to keep the resume to a single page without cutting a lot of important context from the actual experience sections. From what I’ve heard, unless you’re applying for more senior leadership or director-level roles, it’s generally better not to exceed one page

[6 YoE, Unemployed, Customer Success Manager, United States]

I’ve revised it a bunch of times already. The problem is there’s so much conflicting advice out there on resume formatting and structure that I honestly don’t know which direction to go anymore. At this point, I’m not even sure if it’s the format itself or the actual content/information that needs work.

So I just got into Destiny 2 over the past few days, and I’m honestly hooked. I ended up grabbing all the previous expansions and boosted a bit my seasonal rewards pass.

Now I’ve got a bunch of Exotic Ciphers and other resources piling up, and I’m not totally sure how to use them. My power level is still pretty low (around 315), so I’m wondering, should I hold onto these and wait until I’m higher power before grabbing exotic weapons? Or do exotics scale with your level as you progress anyway? Or is there at least a way to level them up as i progress?
