You must know/feel the problem personally

...otherwise you're probably building something useless. You must be in contact with the problem deeply. Ideally it's your own problem. I believe many people are building some solution they hope someone will eventually want like some kind of sky castle. It has to be real!

▲ 2 r/SaaS

What are you working on and why?

Why did you pick the SaaS / the niche that you picked? Do you have a vision of something that should exist? Did you have a personal problem that you solved for yourself and now turned into a SaaS? Did you scan the internet for a unmet pain and are building for it?

Well what are jobs anyway?

Well what are jobs anyway? They exist because someone needs a problem solved. So a company comes and solves the problem, but the company needs help with solving the problem so they employ people.

Traditionally people would try to become one of these helpers.

Now with AI it turns out the company can use AI to be a helper and employs less people.

That doesnt change the core dynamic: Problems have to be solved, thats the whole game.

So now a new angle opens up where the bar to being able to solve a problem goes from big companies to basically a small team and sometimes just a single person, empowered by AI.

So I would advise you, if you are inclined to such activity, to go find a problem and solve it and get paid. I personally find it to be a gratifying way of living.
