Looking for novels or series similar to Never by Ken Follett

So I’m looking for with a heavy geopolitical slant, showing the development of conflicts between nations and/or their internal political disputes.

Any suggestions are welcome!

What has happened to the Northern Line?

I’m a lifelong north Londoner and I can confidently say the current state of the Northern Line is the worst it’s ever been in my lifetime.

We’re not talking occasional delays: complete suspensions of branches of the line and severe delays throughout the line are now commonplace.

Seems every few days trains are running every 15 mins, or signal delays take out a whole branch, or some other disaster messes everything up.

Meanwhile prices remain high and there’s no recourse, refund or anything back to customers to make up for such high levels of disruption.

What the hell is going on? We shouldn’t have to put up with this level of service.

No likes in several weeks - is this normal for a male?

Straight male (I don’t think I’m bad looking). Live in London UK and active in the kink lifestyle for years.

Decided to try Feeld and have found that it’s like I don’t exist on the app. No likes from anyone at all in almost two months of active use.
Also despite sending out several likes a day, as well as the daily ping I get through majestic - not once has a single like or ping come back as a match.

Is this a normal experience for single males on the app? It seems bizarre, surely it can’t be this useless for men? I can’t think of anything on my profile that would be so off putting.
