Is this AM4 setup solid for 1440p High (not Ultra) gaming through 2028

Hey all, putting together this build and want a check before I upgrade my pc. Goal is 1440p gaming at High settings (not chasing Ultra/max) with ray tracing where supported, and I want it to stay relevant for the next couple years, not just right now.

Specs:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D

Motherboard: B550 chipset, dual M.2 slots

RAM: 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3600MHz

GPU: ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 5070 12GB OC

Cooler: 240mm AIO liquid cooler

Storage: 1 TB nvme SSD + 2 TB nvme SSD + 2TB HDD + 4TB HDD

PSU: 750W 80+ certified

Case: ARGB mid-tower, 4 fans pre-installed, 165mm air cooler clearance / supports front 240mm radiator

Monitors: 1x 1080p 22" + 1x 27" (27 inch one is ips panel, 2k monitor with 200Hz )

Questions:

  1. Any bottlenecks I'm missing pairing the 5700X3D with the 5070?
  2. Is 32GB RAM overkill for gaming, or worth it for headroom?
  3. Will this realistically hold up for 1440p High settings (not Ultra) through 2028, or am I being optimistic about longevity on AM4 at this point?
  4. Anything you'd swap out for better value or future-proofing?

Appreciate any input, especially from anyone running a similar 5700X3D + 50-series combo already.

Registering web design agency – Should I use my actual name or a brand name?

Hi everyone,

I’m currently in the process of registering a Private Limited (PVT LTD) company here in Sri Lanka for my web design agency. Right now, it’s just me building websites for clients, but the plan is to scale up and hire a team in the near future.

I’m stuck on a crucial first step: The Company Name.

I'm torn between two directions:

  1. Using my full name (e.g., Rahul Parathy PVT LTD or Rahul Parathy Design Group)
  2. Sticking with a distinct brand name (something separate from my identity)

On one hand, using my name feels personal and builds immediate trust while I am the sole operator. On the other hand, since I plan to hire employees and scale, I wonder if a generic brand name makes the agency feel bigger, more professional, and easier to market down the line.

Would love to hear your thoughts and experiences. Thanks in advance!

Hi everyone. I’m writing this because I’m having a really hard time right now.

I just found out I failed my first-year Anatomy exam. I was supposed to be in the 2022 batch, but now I have to stay back and join the 2024 batch. This means I won't graduate as a doctor until 2031.

The hardest part isn't even the studying. It’s the embarrassment. Some of the students in the new batch are the children of my parents’ close friends. I feel so "cringe" being the older student who failed in front of them. I feel like everyone is talking about me.

Also, my parents are very upset. They want to take away my PC and make me stop my Chemistry tutoring classes. Those classes and my PC are the only things that make me happy and feel like I'm good at something.

I feel like a total failure. 2031 feels so far away, like it’s never going to happen.

Has anyone else here ever failed a year or a subject?

  • How do you stop feeling so embarrassed around younger students?
  • How can I explain to my parents that taking away my PC and my teaching won't help me study better?

I just need some kind words or some advice. Thanks for listening.
