Where does heating and lighting go?

Hi! Im looking to get a ball python and would like to ask a stupid question! Im looking at this enclosure and even if anyone has any better suggestions please tell me, but where does the heating and lighting go? Its not a mesh top so i just cant see where it would go!

What snake next?

So not really a hognose discussion but i dont know where else to put this 😂

I have a hog and ive been thinking about getting another snake, any ideas?

I generally want something with a good temperment and did consider ball python but if it goes agro on me im done for, i think im just being paranoid though. Thanks!

Calling alocosia experts

This is my pride and joy, its had its rough times as you can see from the sticks but is still very happy and making leaves like crazy.

I just wanted to ask about a few things, on the second picture te leaf is browning and see through in one area, what causes this and how do i fix it?

Next the newest leaf has these wierd indents on it, i havent touched it at all and it had that upon unfurling

Dont mind the smallest leaves as i got it with them in that condition.

Is it savable?

For context its 30 degrees C in the uk and i have an attic room with a slanted window, the heat and sunlight has been melting my candle and making it look like this which is kinda gross, also i came home the other day and the wax was squishy 😵‍💫

Will it be okay/ should i move it?

Romance book recs?

Alright guys i need a good romance book but i have a lot of criteria so lets get started

First off it cant be too spicy but it does need to have a bit to keep it interesting

Second the cover CANT have the people on the front

Third preferably it would be a stand alone but its not necessary

Fourth it cant be apsolutly gut wrenching ive had too much of that 😭

Fith the trope isnt massively important to me but im not a big fan of love triangles

I think thats all and im happy with recomendations even if they dont fit the criteria, thanks a lot!
