Farewell my frankenplex 7060

Well it was time for an upgrade. My frankenplex 7060 is either going to my girlfriend or facebook marketplace.

It was a fantastic gaming set up. I really enjoyed learning how to fabricate this case and make it work.

Smaller waffle?! Never thought I'd see the day.

Selling subaru, buying old volvo

Recently I inherited a 2021 subaru forester. It's a fantastic car, i have had some brilliant times with it. It currently only has 30k miles on it.

Most of my life, I have been a volvo wagon owner. I currently have a xc70 project sitting in my garage.

I love my subaru, but it's a little bit too much for me. All the electronics, power everything. It doesn't fit my needs as a mechanic. I feel like if it ever breaks down. It's going to be a pain in the butt to repair, and also expensive.

I'm really thinking about pulling the trigger on selling it. And buying another used volvo as my daily.

In my experience, both of my volvos will probably last twice as long as the subaru.

I need some support chat. Tell me i'm not crazy for wanting to sell a modern day top notch subaru car for a much older volvo.

Company is laying off everyone, im done with trucking.

Last night i found out that our amazon freight partner. Is laying off all 80 employees Drivers mechanics and support staff... Everyone. Our safety and on time delivery metrics dropped well below the amazon standard.

I have been driving for 8 years, and after all of the bullshit ive dealt with in the industry im hanging up my keys.

Honestly, this industry is really great for single individuals if youhave little expenses going OTR is a great way to save money and to put yourself in a good financial spot. It worked great for me.

Maybe someday I'll retire and become a bus driver, but until then im done with the trucking industry.

Two other drivers out there be safe, and get out when you can.

Happy 4th from Talladega, Al.

Peak American behavior...Caught this guy as I was pulling out of loves. Sitting outside of his RV in the parking lot, drinking beer, shirtless, watching baseball.

I hope this is where I land when I retire.
