Thoughts on KTM PDS system?

I'm looking to get a KTM 500 EXC for dual sport riding, and I am unsure about the linkage. Every bike I have had before has had a linkage setup before, and I'm worried that the PDS will feel weird and unnatural. If you have a KTM with pds is it similar to a linkage system in terms of feel or is it quite different and feels off?

Thanks

What's with the surge of little kids on Surrons

I first got my e-bike 2 years ago, and I have been forced to sell it due to little kids in my area being reckless. It started with me and a few of my friends riding neighborhood roads to the dirt trails and hitting some jumps and sometimes hitting some wheelies on empty roads, then cruising home. Now there are rideouts with 30+ kids, some of them looking no older than 10 years old, out on their own on 80+ kph e-bikes. I see them run stop signs, run red lights, and go over 70 in 40 zones. Now cops are all over these bikes, and no one can enjoy them. I partially blame the surronster and ignorant parents; if you have watched any of his videos, he's always running stop signs, speeding, and being all around a terrible influence for his audience of children. I've seen kids run red lights and get hit by a car, all because they see their online influencer doing it as well. I also don't get how parents are so ignorant of what they are letting these kids have. If I had a 10-year-old, there would be no chance I would send them out on a bike capable of almost highway speeds on their own. I used to ride electric scooters with my dad; I was 13, and he would never let me out on my own, ony with him.

First Bike help

I'm looking for a first bike. I am coming from dirtbiking, but I need to stop riding illegally and do things the right way, so I'm asking around on some first bikes. I want something more powerful than my 250 (>40 hp) but no more than 90 hp (Dad says that's the limit). I have been street riding bikes for 2 years now, so I have some experience riding on the road. I'm thinking of a supermoto or a dual sport so I can still hop on the trails with my friends, but other bike recommendations would be appreciated as well. I have a WR250F. I tried getting it road legal with a dualsport kit but in my area they wont let me unless it was road legal from factory

Thanks

Drz400sm or husqvarna 701

I’m looking to get into a road legal bike coming from dirtbiking (most of my riding was on the road so I am quite familiar with street riding), I’m looking at sumo bikes as they are my favourite looking and I’m familiar with the platform. On marketplace in my area there are a bunch of drz400sm, plenty to choose from, but for a bit more I have seen some husqvarna 701s for sale, I heard that the drz is an okay bike, not good at anything but okay at everything. I’m coming from high strung race bikes so I don’t want something that will feel super underwhelming and I fear the drz is like that. I am a young rider and I just got my m1 and about to sign up for an mto course, then it’s only a month and a half for my m2, What do you guys think? Also what is the reliability like on the 701?

What supernoto should I get?

I'm looking at supermotos, as they are cheap and fun. I'm 16 and looking into getting a road bike. I have been riding dirtbikes illegally, but I'm done taking that risk, but I do have road experience. I also have my M1, and I'm signing up for an MTO course. My budget for a bike is 6k Canadian. I'm looking at the DRZ400SM, as it's cheap used, and super reliable, but I have heard that they feel lazy and outdated. I wonder if the DRZ would be a good pick for me, but I also want to hear some good alternatives that fit in my budget

What do I need to street legal my wr250f in Ontario?

I want to blue plate my 2020 wr250f so I can ride road. I ordered a dual sport kit with blinkers from true north motos, it comes with a brake light that works with the foot brake and blinkers built into the brake light, it comes with front blinkers that wrap around the forks and a horn, would I need anything else, like dual sport tires or supermotos?

Brake swap help

My friend has a stark varg and he broke his rear master cylinder and stark sent him a new one but accidentally sent the front master cylinder assembly by accident. Does anyone think I can screw the front brembo cylinder onto my wr250f with nissin brakes, having a brembo lever and nissin caliper. Would I need any parts or would it just not work at all, and would it even be worth the swap

New bike, wr250f

Just sold my surron for this bad boy, it’s a 2020 wr250f with only 15 hours on it, just did an oil change and the only issue is a broken clutch switch.

79bike upgraded horn

We all know that the 79bike horn is so bad it’s basically unusable
I found out it is so bad because when you push the horn button it first has to go through the button assembly to the screen, then to the controller then finally to the horn, no wonder it’s so delayed.
So I upgraded mine
I bought a cheap button of Amazon for 15 bucks and I tapped into the 12v line for the rear light as it’s on all the time then ran the wire straight to the horn and put the button in between, so instead of going through the whole electrical system the horn is connected straight to the 12v with the button in between

Shoes for a beginner?

I just got a bmx a few days ago (fit pledge 2016) and I’m having quite a lot of fun. I keep hearing that running shoes aren’t great for bmx and I am wondering if you guys can give me some good shoe recommendations. I really like the look of the Etnies locut and if I can Hear anything on those it would be great.

It’s hard to hear but my jackshaft makes a crunching sound whenever power is put down, it’s makes it like every other time the jackshaft spins around. Any ideas what this is?
