Chem 261 Textbook
Is the CHEM 261 textbook required for purchase? isn't it just to do the pre-class readings and practice problems?

I'm an international planning to enter med school in the Philippines. I was wondering what NMAT reviewers are best for me. I was told Kudos was internationally friendly with lots of practice questions.
I'm open to any suggestions and recs!
I plan to take Biology 225 and Biology 225L in spring and I was wondering if it would separate count as both a laboratory course and an elective. I know Biology 225 should count as an elective, but what about biology 225L?
Will it also fulfill "at least 2 labs in major" requirement?
What about for Biology 457 and Biology 457L?
will both the labs fulfill the lab requirement?
I'm currently enrolled in ASIA 150 alongside its recitation, but I want a different timing of that class with the same recitation. If I use the swap feature to switch the class, will it remove me from the recitation and I have to waitlist for it all over again?
I want to keep the recitation; just change the class timing
I don't remember ASIA 150 having this kind of thing? I was planning on enrolling for it during Open Enrollment. Is this just a technical issue or do I really need to email them?
I was looking through definitions and I saw that "some" means at least two but less than all.
So if we say that "some doctors are surgeons," can we reasonably conclude that at least 2 doctors are surgeons at minimum?
At maximum, can we conclude that 99 doctors are surgeons?
For that 100th doctor, can we conclude that he's NOT a surgeon? As in we can state that at least 1 doctor isn't a surgeon.
I'm more inclined to thinking that we can't assume anything above 99. What if we added an "only" to the statement? "only some doctors are surgeons." can we then assume that at least 1 doctor isn't a surgeon?
I just recently got into UCAT so please correct me if I'm wrong.
I'm looking at the RMP and her reviews look... disastrous to say the least. Is her class really that hard? I'm taking Bio 220 and Chem 261 alongside this class.
Anyone have any good recs for bio electives?
I was thinking of taking Biology 422 with Benjamin Parker but I don't really see any reviews.
I was thinking of completing a Psychology BA at my university in the USA and then try for medical school in the UK. These are the 4 medical schools I'm thinking of applying to: leicester, queen's belfast, buckingham, manchester.
However, I will be applying to the 5 year program (not GEM).
Will they count my degree as a science applicant? Or will they only ask for my high school grades and my GPA from college? I'm thinking of completing the degree in 3 years.
I will be taking Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Biochemistry, Physics 1 and 2, alongside biology classes like molecular genetics and cell biology.
I'm considering going to medical school in UK and eventually settling there, but the low salaries make repaying the loans seem hell. What do you all think?
