What's the who, what when and why of your bass story?

so my best friend wants to learn how to play the E-bass and so our friendgroup decided that we wanted to buy her one. problem is none of us have experience with basses and know which one to buy and we have a very tight budget because we are teens. so please give us/me some recommendations on what basses to buy!

We had another few gigs.
The stage was very small, for our 5 piece. I was squeezed to side, to behind the PA system.
Barely had any lights on me either...
I gave my very best anyway.

After gig, everyone complementing the frontman and the 2 guitarists at the front centre...
Our drummer is great, and he had some lights and engagement, too.

I felt left alone and behind. Not a single person recognised me after the set...
Like i haven't even been on stage...

it wouldn't have been bad if this would not be a reoccurring situation and not getting more frequent...

My dad cooked up one of my precious beyond patties thinking it was a real dead cow. He ate it unknowingly because it tasted the same and then shortly after he had to go to the hospital for B12 deficiency. When I visited him he said he was sorry for taking my food and I said no what’s mine is yours, my step brother already switched to beyond burgers and died of B12 deficiency after being in the ICU for 3 days, slow and steady wins the race

Everyone’s mannerisms seem unnatural, especially the pointing at the end from the cameraman. Little reaction from the people in the back, the way the riot shield falls into the water

PVE: I know I know grief is OP and ruins builds i get it, but purely from a DPS perspective, can a good eth tomb reaver or a good eth upped ribcracker actually be better than grief/SS?
