NO MORE LIGHT - First 4K Gameplay Teaser

For the first time, No More Light is now available to see in 4K.

We've spent countless hours refining animations, VFX, atmosphere, and the overall presentation of our post-apocalyptic survival horror game.

And one thing I'd like to say: don't let the visual quality fool you. This isn't the work of a studio with hundreds of developers it's the result of the dedication and persistence of just a few people.

New lighting update for my relaxing hiking game

Over the past few weeks, I've been focusing on a major visual update for HIKE: Beyond the Trails.
I completely reworked the game's lighting to create a warm, late-afternoon, semi-sunset atmosphere. The goal wasn't just to improve the visuals, but to strengthen the feeling of being immersed in a peaceful natural environment.

These screenshots represent an important milestone in the project's visual evolution, but they're not the final destination. Before release, I plan to continue refining the lighting, atmosphere, and environmental details to push the visual quality even further.

Hike: Beyond the Trails offers a unique, calming experience focused on exploration, nature, and mindfulness.

  • In this update, I focused on improving the atmosphere and visual quality of the game. I reworked the sunlight to create a warmer, more natural look, and refined the overall color palette for a more cohesive feel.
  • The game now features a more realistic sky that better fits the environment and enhances immersion. Forests have been improved with more variation, adding new trees and environmental details to break repetition.
  • I also added several new explorable areas, giving players more space to discover and enjoy. Finally, distant LODs have been improved, making the world look better and more detailed even from afar.
