I've had 3 install dates schedule that they never showed up for over the years. They've literally knocked on my door to offer their service. A fourth date was supposed to happen "after permits were approved" and they never scheduled it.

I've tried so hard to be a customer and at his point I'm just over it. If it's this hard to be a new customer, I can't imagine how bad it is once I'm there.

"Look at me I'm an electric car" noise

First off, I want to say, I love electric cars. This isn't an anti-electric car rant.

But the damn angel trumpet, space ship hovering noise, whatever noises they make. I live downtown, I walk places regularly, I ride my bike for groceries and take out. Most of the time, the only noise I hear from any reasonably modern gas car is the tires, unless they're some hot rod or jacked up truck.

But electric cars, they're so GD noisy! They're distracting AF, and it's grating. Not all electric cars, but a LOT of them. The damn noises they make "so you know they're there" are so obnoxious and piercing. Not even just the backup sounds, which are bad enough but at least limited. It sounds like the electric car version of gigantic tow mirrors on a jacked up pickup.

That is all. Thanks for listening.

Liars!

I'm nearly 300 boxes in. This starts this month.

Week 1: Box arrived a full day late and fully melted. Things are cool (55 degrees) but not consuming meat and dairy from that box. They issue credit for the box. Fine.

Week 2: No issues, but credit not used for some reason.

Week 3: Box arrives TWO days late and fully room temperature. Contact support and they give me a credit for the box. At this point I realize they STILL haven't refunded the shipping. So, I demand FULL refund AND I want it back on my card, not a credit, because this is the second time in 3 weeks.

"We can't refund it because it was paid for with a credit" Despite the fact that the credit was from the LAST failure AND they didn't use the credit on the box that was fine for some unknown reason.

Escalate, supervisor agrees to refund entire balance to card. I skipped a week.

Today I just checked my account and realized that it was paid for with credit. Check my card and it was never refunded the balance.

At the end of the day, I /*ONLY*/ get my value back because I gave them another chance. They flat out lied about the refund, and that pisses me off more than any of the issues that have occurred.

My feral boy is becoming the best boy!

This void boy took us 2 and a half years to get close enough to trap after getting an injury we didn't think he'd survive. On our first visit to the vet, they said he was too feral and gave us some drugs so he'd be sedated the next morning.

Even after over 2 years outside, it still took a few months before he'd let us touch him if he had a say, and we tried to give him as much agency as we could while helping him heal.

8 months later, he routinely comes up to ask for pets. He's still not a cuddler, but he's working on it. I caught him mid-yawn while getting his ears scratched.

Also for more feels, a picture of him with the kitten we took in a couple months after him, barely 3 pounds and starving when we found her in our engine compartment. They've been learning how to cat together, and this is the first time I saw them legitimately cuddling.

Litter Robot 5 Camera's require subscription?!

I've had the 4 for 3 years and loved it. The weight and usage tracking has been great for our old senior girls and vet info. I was seriously considering upgrading to the 5 pro as we've got 3 new young girls who are all very distinctive visually (literally fully different colors), but near the same weight. I thought "Hey, I'll just upgrade to the 5 pro and it'll be totally worth $1000"

But apparently visual tracking requires an $8/month subscription? And from what I read on other posts here it's sending MASSIVE amount of data? Honestly, I'm not crazy about cameras IN the house in the first place. I have cameras outside the house that identify pets and people and record to SD card, but this robot would be the first connected cameras INSIDE the house and realizing that it's not local, I'm totally turned off of it and see no reason to upgrade.

We need a third party firmware. I'd even pay for it and host it on my own hardware, but not a subscription.

Is there a good list for comparing tractors?

In the game, I've noticed that some features aren't even detailed. Like the Lintrac 130 shows nowhere that it has 4 wheel steering, which is awesome but you can't find out about that until you drive one.

Other features like if it has a front 3 point hitch, while usually visually apparent, are not listed anywhere. Trailers / hitches are another issue, because there's no obvious indicator if a hitch is pintle or ball hitch, and instead of just going with "bumper" because it's easy to adapt between all of these, they are very different.

Like the John Deere Gator's can pull farm equirpment, but the Kubota Sidekick can only pull vehicle trailers.
