I could see him play a big bad on the same level as Shido or Adachi but casting a big name to play a big bad feels predictable.
And I think a pivotal role like Namatame or even protag's caretaker/guardian would be more interesting.

This is a follow up to my previews Octopath Traveler II Fancast I made a month ago. I excluded Mugen since the character is mostly wearing mask so a stuntman can fill in the role and also allow his English VA reprise him to and do the voicework, same with mutated Mahina and Akala, Daman Mills and Cristina Vee can just go back to the sound booth and record their lines. Though on a writing standpoint, it can be a challenge which canon beast Ochette picks.
Can't think of any actor who can pull off Kaldena so I left her out in the list.
I've also considered picking Amalee and Britanny Cox to reprise their roles (Dolcinea and Kaldena, respectively) but idk if they would commit to film on-cam for months.
I've added Moonshade order characters since I believe live-action show can flesh them out especially Petrichor who had zero screentime in the game.
Aubrey Plaza as Sister Mindt/Arcanette would also be a good opportunity to expand the character and flesh out antagonist role, since she's got screen presence to make that part formidable . Like Freddie Fox, Aubrey is also capable in both comedy and dramatic aspects which would make her a foil to his Temenos.
On my second playthrough of OT2 right now and picked Akala, hearing Daman Mills' performance got me thinking he's gonna be Kanji in P4R. Congratulations, another Octopath Traveler alumna has joined the Persona franchise.

I picked the ones closer to the characters' appearance, feel, and their acting ability to embody them. I thought Melissa Barrera for Throné would click better with Freddie Fox's Temenos because she's closer to his range (36) and I can see them playing that sassy, unhinged besties.
The extensive voice work, revamped UI, upgraded QOL (like quicksave), upscaled graphics as well as some textures were redone but it's still the same PS2 game through and through. Oh and they reworked on some of the gameplay mechanics.

Sharing this since a new trailer Trails in the Sky 2nd Chapter came out. I'm looking forward to Stephen Fu's version and it's as good as Travis Willingham (OG and Sky 1 Remake VA).
I was playing Raidou and that convinced me he can pull off a big bad role especially when he did AU Raidou in Ch. 9.
Vaundy for OP because I like his upbeat energy as a singer and him singing OP theme for Daemons of the Shadow Realm shows he's got range.
For ED, Luck Life because their songs for BSD really shows that sentimental and emotional feel and I think they could make songs feel for the Wishvale Four the same way to Bungou Stray Dogs protags.
I'd like to hear your suggestions as well.
Oh btw, it's a great film. I totally recommend it. I yearn for an Odysseus-esque storyline for one of the travelers in a future OT game - I think a warrior class character fits that bill.
But part of me is still hoping that OT3 is gonna come out on the Switch 1. If that were the case then it'll be the last true physical copy in the series. I know OT0 had a physical Xbox series S copy but given their track record, I doubt.
So does that make Yukiko canonically a dancer?
