Nimshew Rd Move

Hello!

I’m considering moving to Nimshew area and was looking for any and all advice on this location.

I grew up in lower Paradise and have been in Chico since starting college in 2008. I’m familiar with some of Magalia but not so much with Nimshew area.

Thank you in advance!!

Court Reporting or Law School?

I’m a 30F in CA looking to make a career move. I currently work in business operations and would like to either go to Law School and become an attorney or go to school to be a Court Reporter and work for my local county.

Any insight into which one would be “better”? My goals are good income, decent work-life-balance, and schooling that I can pass the first time through. I’m a good student (3.8 GPA for undergrad in social sciences) and I enjoy detailed oriented work.

My biggest “idk” is I see the pass rates at my local law school to be MUCH higher than the typical court reporting certification pass rates so it made me hesitate.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated!

Pauly quoting Doakes from Dexter😂

I started a full Jersey shore rewatch about 2 months ago and after all 6 OG seasons and then starting JSFV, I’m finally nearing the end of season 7.

My favorite JSFV quote is actually from Pauly and it’s not even his quote haha it’s when he’s constantly quoting Doakes from Dexter😂😂

“Surprise muthafu$ka”🤣🤣

People will say what they want but I’ve enjoyed all of JSFV, and the OG series.

Low trigger warning fantasy books/series

Hello!

Like the title says, I’m in search of fantasy books with low trigger warnings… I know that can be different depending on the person so let me add a little more context. I’m looking for books with NONE of the following:

- child abuse

- child loss

- child death

- pregnancy

- pregnancy loss

- graphic sexual assault

I’m okay with pretty much anything else but I really am in search of a gripping fantasy story that isn’t extremely dark.

I’ve enjoyed The Empyrean Series, The Hierarcy Series, ACOTAR, TOG, LoTR, Harry Potter, first few books in WoT, and I keep wanting to push through An Ember in the Ashes but the constant reference of “r@pe” is a bit much.

Any and all recommendations are super appreciated!!🥰

Cal Northern School of Law

Has anyone on here attended CNSL? Any thoughts of testimonials for current or previous students?

Thank you in advance!

I know he’s getting a lot of heat on this subreddit, but as someone who is a mom and has gone through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum with the love of my life…. Luke’s confessionals and conversations feel very vulnerable and real. It is one of the hardest things to go through as a couple.

The general consensus is that men need to bend over backwards for the sacrifice that women make when bringing a life into this world. Do I disagree with that? No… lol but I don’t think it means that men’s feeling don’t matter.

Luke also went through a huge transition when Kaia was born, but Kristen sacrificed much more. It doesn’t mean Luke didn’t sacrifice! I know my husband misses guys night out, camping, golfing, etc. and if he wants to complain about that now and then I’m all ears. He’s allowed to have the same feelings I have, which is loving our life now while missing how it used to be. THATS ALLOWED!

I am now, and always will be, team Kristen. However, I really like Luke and I think he’s real and doesn’t deserve the hate and judgement I see on here.
