It’s brilliant and hilarious. A great way to celebrate our 250th Anniversary. He accomplishes what Larry David failed to do with his new series. Which was same old same old and doesn’t work anymore.
The great artist, David Hockney just died. His was a unique vision full of joy. When I was in art school and we had to copy a painting by a great artist, I chose Hockney’s, Mt. Fuji With Flowers.
I only lasted 30 minutes. Two extremely unlikeable characters. But the clincher for me was the nonchalant mention that an owl ate her cat, leaving nothing but the tail. Sorry! My late husband wouldn’t watch any movies in which a cat was harmed and I’m honoring that. Alison Janney is a very good actress, but she’s taking this cold heartless character too far. The late husband’s art is good and that enchilada needed sauce.
Will be serving these with barbecued catfish, black eyed peas and fried okra. Happy start to Summer, even if the weather isn’t cooperating.
Last year the deer ate them the minute they opened. So this year, I brought them in immediately! Watched them every day with vigilance. Sprayed them with coyote urine.
