DET: I know this will be very unpopular here but I personally can't see Ausar and Duren succeeding together in the long term and it's a lot easier to win with a non shooting big man than win with a non shooting wing in the modern NBA. Cade has arrived so if I'm DET I'm saying screw the young guys, lets go all the way in. Cade/TM3/CJ/Lauri/Duren + a bench of Danisse Jenkins, Bryce and whoever they sign in FA is not deep whatsoever but say they bring back THJ on a 2/10y deal and get a backup center a la jock landale; fuck it.
NOP: their FO seems to prioritise good players coming back in a potential trey murphy trade based on rumours; here they get a top 5 defender in the NBA in the same age range as Queen and Fears. Could see this getting extended to DEN sending the 31 pick + a future swap + strawther + Nnaji for Herb who was bad this year and is getting old
UTA: 2 picks and decent to good role players for Lauri + Bryce who is going to be very low on the depth chart next year. I'm not sure they could get a much better package than this without taking back major salary and the time to trade Lauri is now imo; he isn't going to get many more touches next year and is on a huge deal that will essentially force them to give up Keyonte or Kessler. Now, I'm not the biggest Keyonte fan since he isn't a good defender whatsoever, but I also believe he could at least be a neutral defender at some point. His measurements are infinitely better than say, Trae Young, and he hasn't actually been on a team trying to compete, ever. Biggest no here is that Lauri is one of the very very very rare crop of NBA players that actually enjoy Utah.
We are a national embarrassment. Batt has done a incredible job at MSU and losing him will surely cost the athletic department hundreds of millions if not a billion dollars in donations.

But before they pick Mendoza they have him go to the Green Room, right outside the Secretary Room to wait.
Now Bartlett asked this, meaning there was obviously purpose. That purpose being "wait here so we can talk to the other guy and I can give you good news or bad news".
Well, Mendoza gets the nod at the end of the episode by Bartlett, Toby, and Sam. Then they walk out of the oval and there is a crowd of people gathered and Bartlett literally yells "Mr. Justice Mendoza!" and everyone claps.
So...is Judge Harrison sitting 15 feet away just feeling like a bag of shit?
I would too. Get that reward. But the NBA needs to get some new rule that awards the opposing team (Pistons) a one shot FT and ball for this.
