I've got a RCF two tone yellow gold bluesy and a full yellow gold submariner black dial. I've been trying to find a decent plated Cuban link chain and bracelet that will match the plating on the watches but I'm not having the best of luck. I've had a silver stainless steel jaxxon chain for years and love the quality and clasp so I got a set from them plated in 14k. When it came in I only had a victory factory full gold sub and the color tone was wayyy off so I sent it back. The jaxxon chain was super light compared to the overly cheesy victory plating.
Since then I sold the victory sub and got a RCF Bluesy and full yellow gold submariner that's on the way. I figured I'd try again to match it since the gold plating on the RCF is pretty close to what a genuine rolex's 18k looks like. AI pointed me at Craftd London since they use 18k gold plating. I got it in and it's close but still darker than the watch plating outside in natural lighting. I used a baking soda paste and coated the chain then rinsed it off and surprisingly it lightened it up a bit because it removed the factory oils from the chain. It's better but still no match when side by side.
Should I try ordering from jaxxon again? Maybe it will be a closer match due to the plating on RCF being a better lighter gold tone than victory factory's cheese plating? Has anyone had any luck getting other plated gold jewelery to match outside of buying a real gold chain or gold vermeil? I love the look for certain situations but I'm not an everyday gold guy so I can't see wasting thousands on a real gold chain.

Has anyone tried the bracelet from Topstraps for the wd1863 case? I have the new version of watchdives bracelet and it is nice but I really want an omega logo on the clasp.

Finally got my hands on this Citizen Tsuki-Yomi Eco-Drive watch. The bracelet it came with felt super cheap for the price so I swapped it out with this aftermarket fkm strap. Can't see the moon display right now but it's really a beautiful addition. What really made me want this is the technology behind it. It automatically updates the time daily using the radio signal from the atomic clock. I love when a watch has something unique about it.

This guy claimed the watch was 10/10 condition and when it arrived it had a bunch of scratches on the case and a damaged bezel. Now he won't return my messages. Buyers beware...
I made a mistake and got 2 watches from moonmods website. I really wanted a decent speedy rep so I figured I'd just settle for a moonswatch in a metal case. I got the moonswatch sourced from a swatch store and an aftermarket movement and dial for the 1965. The 1965 is trash... literally I want to throw it out it's so bad. The Jubilee bracelet is locked up at the end links and it's the cheapest bracelet I've ever put hands on. The "sapphire" glass is a joke and you can't even read it at the slightest angle. I'm going to keep the one with the gen moonswatch inside and try to source better parts to make it wearable. I might dress up the 1965 and sell it for $100 but honestly I think i would feel bad doing so...

I love my Daytona but the oysterflex fins drive me nuts. Since this model has built in end links I've read that a regular 20mm aftermarket strap won't fit right. I want to put a sailcloth one on it or even just a regular rubber strap. Has anyone made the switch or am I just stuck with the oysterflex?
