Best chair for long hours of computer usage for ~£500. No "just buy used" answers. I live rurally, i don't have some huge local marketplace of Herman Millers for cheap pricing. If you answer with refurb/used options, give specifics so i can actually pursue making a purchase.

Yes i've searched through this subreddit but for anybody looking for a value-based option the answer is virtually always used/refurbished which is very US-defaultist. There is no online marketplace where you actually find decent used office chairs, and i'm yet to find any available refurb shops which are available to me, priced well and consistently have stock.

I'm 6'1~, live in rural UK and i need a chair for long hours on a computer. I don't have a super strict budget but i can't drop £1000s for a chair. £700 max, ideally much, much less.

Looking to buy a Height adjustable desk, UK. Very new to all this but really trying to focus on value.

Please be nice. I'm just trying to get a good quality, long lasting height adjustable desk for my PC setup. I need at least 70cm W but ideally towards the smaller end for length because of space constraints.

I don't really have a clear idea for pricing but i really don't want to be spending any more than £300 at maximum, including shipping/travel costs but i'd much prefer to spend a lot less if it all possible.

I'd need it to hold my whole computer, which probably weighs about ~20KG in total so it does need to have decent weight capabilities. I don't care much for special features or anything, i want something pretty basic with minimal points of failure or added costs.

Really i'm looking for all the advice/info i can get at this point in time. Thanks in advance :)

Is a damaged port on a Corsair keyboard repairable?

For a while i was having issues where it would keep disconnecting/reconnecting. But now it does seem like the USB-C connector on my keyboard has finally broken. Do you know if this is feasible to repair either myself or by a professional and if so how much it would cost.

The problem started after i accidentally ripped a capable right out of the socket violently with my foot.

I'm presently unable to send a photo of the issue but i think it is just the port itself. The exact model is K70 RGB PRO. It's quite an expensive keyboard so i really want to avoid having to replace it if possible since this doesn't seem like to big of an issue.

Why does Adrenalin think i'm getting 2354.9 average FPS and 0ms 95th percentile in Hitman Absolution?

That seems like a lot? Like i don't think that's correct

Fun fact i noticed recently: If you have a UK IP and open a private tab, YouTube will default to showing you right-wing propaganda. Despite having nothing to do with what i was watching, it kept shoving this 5k view trash down my throat.

This is part of how they subtly promote these ideologies while claiming to be impartial. Bet nobody ever finds themselves in the same situation with a left-wing video.

As somebody who prefers to use private tabs for things i don't need history for, seeing this reactionary slop was always annoying to see. But it's only now that i put together the pattern.

All the other videos i was getting recommended was either at least incidentally related to what i was watching (tech videos), or had at least 100,000 views. The only exceptions to this rule was propaganda slop such as the video pictured here.

(I'm a long-time lurker here, but i don't post often, so i hope this flair is appropriate)

What does an optimal power & torque curve look like?

Hey r/automationgame ! I'm new to this game and i was trying to build the fastest car i could and export it to beamNG. I thought this graph looked quite good, but i'm having issues with it when i actually try using it. What's the ideal shape for a power/torque graph? Is my ratio for the two units good?

What's the weakest Marvel And DC Superhero that can tank (survive) Endeavor's Prominence Burn? (MHA)

Assume at somewhat close range, not discussing possibility of dodging/avoiding. Only if they can take it and live.

There is some variation between the different uses of the move, so if you want to use a specific reference, use the one that took down the Hood Nomu.
