Thirteen (2016)

Incredible 5 part series.

Starring Jodie Comer in such a compelling and nuanced performance.

The story is about Ivy Moxam who was kidnapped at age 13, and managed to escape 13 years later. We follow the investigation of her ordeal, her attempted integration back to life with her family and friends, and how this experience impacts her and everyone around her.

Has some flaws, but overall, just a brilliant exploration of this dark subject matter.
