Ruby Cranberry Jellies

In my dream I was in I think Scotland and it was Christmas time. There was a festive treat/centerpiece on a platter that was arranged in a conical Christmas Tree shape. They were jellies that had a Mandarin orange slice in the middle, and the jellies were ruby red and round but cut like jewels. There were arranged in pairs, every two connected by a golden thread and you used mini tongs that looked like tweezers to grab a pair of them to eat. They were delicious, not like usual gummy texture but they were soft yet brittle somehow? Very satisfying texture, and the flavor was sweet yet balanced by tartness. They were arranged so that the biggest ones were at the base of the cone and they gradually got smaller as they reached the top. The biggest were maybe the size of a marble.

Thanks for reading! I recently found this sub and don't usually dream about food but did last night so had to share!

EDIT: After telling my spouse about this dream, we figured out that the texture of the dream jellies was like that of the crystal candies that were a social media trend awhile back!

Oops I'm weaning

Well I'm almost 5mo in and I fear the end is near. I've been having a really hard time keeping up with a schedule and honestly just staying motived with a massive supply decrease has been hard. I've been combo feeding for a month or so now but I'm nervous to switch to 100% formula and I'm wondering - would freezing what little milk I do have so that my baby has an ounce or so of BM a day be beneficial? For immune benefits, antibodies all that. Or should I just keep giving her what I make every day and switch to all formula once I inevitably dry up. Thanks!

P.S I know formula feeding is TOTALLY GOOD and okay, it's just a mental adjustment to switch 100%.

Name Uncertainty

Does anyone else sometimes feel unsure about your child's name you chose? I worry sometimes that we didn't choose right.

Hello Spider Lovers - I am here to ask your help. I am afraid of spiders, and while I wish them no harm, I am fearful of their presence. I read this sub's rules and to my best knowledge this post is allowed, if it is not I am sorry and I mean no offense.

In the last week I have met face to face with 5 (large) visitors in my home which has caused me great anxiety. Spiders outside are fine! But I don't enjoy being jumpscared in my home. Is there anything I can do to make my living space less hospitable to the 8 legged critters? I try to keep things off the ground and minimize hiding spots. I am coming to you as experts in arachnids in hopes that you can lend some advice. Perhaps I need to change my mindset. But I am so scared.

What are some good styles that will stay put for long periods of time that help prevent breakage and frizz and are comfortable to sleep in? My hair is waist length, wavy/loose curly and very prone to frizz. I often just throw it into a bun but it gets tangled and frizzy and I'm noticing breakage because of it.
