Found The Code, Invalid At Checkout

So i found today's code for the OLED monitor, however at checkout the code is invalid.

The product still says "live" on the website

Has this happened to anyone else?

What could i do apart from emailing MSI?

EDIT:

Msi responded to me about this, it turns out the code i found was yesterdays. While the msi thing wasnt a scam, it was extremely poor. The website claimed it was "live" but it wasnt till much later. The reason people have been complaining about not being able to find codes, and the codes being redeemed at around 5pm, is mainly because when the code says its "live", its not actually live. It does eventually go live, however you have no idea when, because the "live" tag is actually false. Sale is over now anyway, but just wanted to tell everyone incase they were still complaining of the scam

Roughly, what time does the £1 deal drop?

I know obviously no one can say, but it is the final day of the deal and i was looking to maybe get the item. Based of the previous days, again i know you can't tell, but roughly what time estimate would it be? Any time after a certain time? Thanks for any help

How much can i get for this? How can i maximize value? (UK)

Need some advice on the best way to sell my old PC without wasting money.

Currently I have a spare PC sitting around with:

  • GTX 1060
  • i3-2100
  • 16GB DDR3
  • 1TB HDD + 256GB SSD

I know it’s ancient, but I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do to get more value out of it before selling. I’ve also got around £160 cash.

I also have:

  • 2x 1080p 165Hz curved VA monitors that I can sell

My ideas so far:

  • Sell the 1060 and upgrade it to a 1660 Ti to increase the selling price.
  • Buy an i7-2600K so I can at least advertise it as an “i7 gaming PC”.
  • Or instead replace the old DDR3 platform completely by buying an AM4 motherboard and moving my current PC’s 5600G + 16GB DDR4 into it to increase selling price.
  • After selling everything, use the money towards either a used 5700X3D + 32GB DDR4 upgrade, or potentially move to a used AM5 build depending on prices.

I’m basically trying to get the most value possible out of everything I already have and avoid wasting money on upgrades that don’t add much value. I am also trying to have some money leftover to go towards an oled

How much money could each option realistically get me in total, including the monitors? Would it be enough to fund the upgrades or possibly an AM5 build?

Also, is there anything that would increase the value more than a 1660 Ti without costing too much?

Everything will be sold through Gumtree/eBay

Please help me improve

So i recently have gotten F1 26, but i am extremely slow.

I play on controller, so i know that is going to be slower then wheel anyway, but i shouldn't be this much of the pace, especially compared to the ai which is set to 70. Yeah i might be in a haas, but i should still be faster.

Even in multiplayer i struggle, going from p1 to p14 within 3 laps.

Can anyone help me improve? Really frustrated with my pace.

How bad is it to buy used? Difference between 1440 and 4k?

Im looking to buy an oled monitor, but was wondering how bad it is to buy used. Obviously because of burn in, and fragile panels it may not be a great idea, but i don't really want to pay the premium price of oleds. I am thinking of eventually upgrading to msis triple mode monitor, probably 2-3 years after it releases so prices can drop, so i was thinking, is it bad to buy a used oled if i want a good experience for the next 2, 3 or 4 years? Would there really be any difference burn in wise between a 32 4k or 27 1440P monitor?

Id probably want the 32 4k to last me about 3-5, while the 27 1440 2-3 before i upgrade. What do you think would be better? 32 4K now, upgrade later on, or 27 1440 now and upgrade sooner to a flagship oled. After all, my 5070ti, is only going to get weaker as more demanding games come out, so i wouldn't really want to waste it playing 1440p now if i couldn't play 4k in a few years, but then id probably stay longer with the 32 4k because of the price. What would be best?

Msi triple mode monitor:

Also, im thinking of upgrading to something like this. It is expected to release around 1k - 1.4k pounds. Now obviously, i know it is impossible to predict price, however, using examples from previous oleds, how long till it drops to around 700-850? 2 years? 3 years? Longer?

Is there a way to move uis to another screen?

So im getting an oled, however im worried about burn in. I know with all the safety features burn in risk is low, but still possible after a while. I was wondering, is there a way to move uis over to another screen? So if i could get a small screen to put next to the oled, is there a way to put certain uis on that screen? I know some games have it, but im also talking with mods, software, etc.

Why are there so many 90+ rated regens?

So i was doing a career mode, enjoying rebuilding newcastle. About 3/4 seasons into career mode, i began seeing literally hundreds of players rated 90+, who were regens/generated players. Most of them were 16-22 years old. Even if they arent 90 rated, there were still literally hundreds of players rated above 82.

Yeah, i get that there will obviously be elite talent, maybe 5-10 world class youngsters, however theres loads. Lots of them are stuck in lower divisions, for awful clubs

Is there any setting or mod to fix this?

Thanks for any help

So i have a spare pc, and i'm looking to sell it. How much do you think i could get for it?

SPECS:

1660 SUPER

16GB DDR3

i7-2600K

256GB SSD

1TB HDD

2 monitors (curved, va, 165hz, 1080p)

Ik its pretty bad, but i was just wondering if i could get any sort of decent value for it.

Also, i could take my main pc, which has a 5600g and 16gb ddr4 and put the parts into the pc im going to sell. Then upgrade my main pc to am5, but with ddr5 ram prices atm im not sure.

Thanks
