Restaurant with a sea view for birthday dinner in Lanzarote?

Hi everyone! I’ll be arriving in Lanzarote on July 21st and I’d love to take my girlfriend out for dinner somewhere nice with a sea view for her birthday.
We’ll be staying in Puerto del Carmen, but we’ll have a car, so we’re happy to drive around the island.
Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

MiM ESADE-IE-IESE

Hi everyone,
I’m an Italian Bocconi student in Economics and Management, with a 29.5/30 GPA and an upcoming internship at Accenture Strategy & Consulting on an EMEA project. I’ll also be doing an Erasmus at UC3M Madrid, and my long-term goal is to build my career in Spain, ideally Madrid.
I’m considering the IESE MiM, ESADE MiM, and IE MiM for 2027–2028, but I’m trying to understand which one is actually stronger in practice.

Main questions:

  1. How are IESE, ESADE, and IE MiM perceived by recruiters in Spain?
  2. Is IESE’s reputation mostly MBA-driven, while ESADE/IE are stronger for pre-experience master’s programs?
  3. Which one has better outcomes for corporate strategy, consulting, big pharma, big tech, or FMCG in Spain?
  4. With my profile, would one school give me a clear advantage, or is it mostly about networking and personal fit?
  5. Which one offers better value for money, considering tuition, scholarships, and job outcomes?

I’d really appreciate honest feedback from students, alumni, or people familiar with recruiting in Spain. Not looking for marketing material.
Thanks!

ESADE VS IESE MiM

MacBook Air M3 water in backpack

Yesterday some water leaked in my backpack with my MacBook Air M3 inside. It stayed there in standby for around 3 hours.

When I turned it on, macOS showed liquid detected in USB-C ports. I then turned it off and left it overnight in a tent position for about 12 hours.

This morning it works normally and the USB warning is gone, but there’s still a visible water-like halo/stain on the bottom-left of the display near the hinge.

Can this dry out and disappear after a few days, or is the display likely permanently damaged? Should I wait 48–72h or take it to a repair shop now?

Thanks.

IESE MiM reputation

Hi everyone,

I'm an Italian student at Bocconi University (CLEAM program, GPA 29.5/30) finishing my bachelor's in 2027. I have an internship at Accenture Strategy & Consulting (EMEA project) and will be doing an Erasmus at UC3M Madrid next year, which is also where I'd like to build my career long-term.

I'm seriously considering the IESE MiM for 2027-2028 and I have a few questions I can't find clear answers to:

  1. How is the IESE MiM perceived by recruiters in Spain compared to ESADE MiM and IE? Is there a clear hierarchy or are they seen as equivalent?

  2. Does the IESE MiM brand carry weight specifically for the MiM, or is the prestige mostly associated with the MBA? I've heard some people say recruiters in Spain don't always distinguish clearly between the two programs.

  3. For corporate strategy specifically (big pharma, big tech) IESE MiM have a real on-campus recruiting pipeline, or do most students find jobs through networking?

  4. For those who did the MiM (not the MBA): how was the career support in practice? Did the Career Development Center actually help, or was it mostly self-driven?

  5. Any thoughts on scholarship chances for an international student with a strong academic profile?

I'm open to honest and critical feedback — not looking for marketing material. Thanks in advance.

UC3M Erasmus fall semester

Hi everyone,

I’m going to UC3M as an Erasmus student for the fall semester and I’m currently finalizing my Learning Agreement. I’m from Bocconi University in Italy, so I need to choose courses that can be recognized by my home university, but I’d also like to make sure my workload is reasonable during the exchange.

At the moment, I’m planning to take Financial Economics 13747, Strategic Management 13171, Operations Management 13172, Organizational Design 13176 and Public Economics 13651, for a total of 30 ECTS.

Do you think this course selection is manageable for an exchange student? Are any of these courses known to be particularly demanding or risky?
Thanks a lot!
