Hi friends. This is my brown anole, Olive. His tank needs to be cleaned… I’m able to spot clean the dirt and remove the rocks/branches/ etc to clean. But I want to try to clean the glass without removing any pets…. Olive is so so fast and … doesn’t like to be touched. The tank is bioactive with isopods and springtails, which I also don’t want to remove!!!

I know how I can clean the glass in my vivarium, but I need to know if I can clean the glass with my pets still inside? Who has tried this and how did it go? Any tips/advice?

TLDR; How to clean water build up on tank glass without removing pets?!?

After MONTHS of trying to breed the isopod colony in my anole terrarium…. (Lizard even ate the first colony and I had to buy a new batch…) I finally noticed tiny babies today!!! ((And it’s my BIRTHDAY WEEKEND so it’s like my mama cows gave me the cutest lil presents! 😭!!))

I was previously unsure about the gender of my rescued anole… until two days ago I saw HIM doing this….

Am I correct to assume my little friend was a juvi and he’s just now growing up? (🥹)

And also does this look like an aggressive display? Or trying to attract a mate? Or is he trying to tell me something else?

ETA: I live alone & don’t have any other pets except a hamster. (Could he be trying to start shit w/ JellyBean?!) but there are no females around! Should I get him a fake lizard friend?
