5 drops of THC oil mid work followed by a chaser

Sharing a memory from last year during Navratri events going on in office. The whole team was buzzed with the oil and everyone was happy. Also had a drug test a week or two later after this but atleast everyone was happy for once at that fucking soul wrenching workplace

My coworker had her uterus removed after a year of reproductive abuse

TL;DR: My 22F ex-coworker was in a year-long relationship with a 29M who repeatedly refused to use contraception, secretly removed condoms during sex, and pressured her to take Plan B afterward. She took 16 Plan Bs in a year and eventually suffered a severe medical emergency that resulted in her uterus being removed. She had always wanted children and is now understandably devastated. He also isolated her from her friends and coworkers and is now blaming her for not being on birth control. She has since left him.

An ex-coworker of mine, F22, had her uterus removed, apparently after complications from repeated Plan B use. It sounds weird when I put it that way, but the situation is much more complicated than that.
She had been dating an older man, M29, for about a year, and this guy had a very strange and honestly disturbing sexual relationship with her. He would refuse to wear condoms or use any other form of contraception and would instead rely on Plan B. Even when he did wear condoms, he would sometimes remove them while they were having sex without her knowing or noticing. He would then ejaculate inside her and make her take Plan B afterward.
She was already struggling with a couple of other health issues, and being on birth control was not an option for her because her hormones were already messed up due to those issues. This whole situation apparently made things even worse.
She has taken 16 Plan Bs in the past year. A few days ago, about a week ago, her uterus apparently ruptured or was severely damaged, and she was bleeding so heavily that the doctors ultimately decided that she needed to have her uterus removed.
It has been incredibly difficult for me to process because she is almost two years younger than me, and I’ve always seen her as someone like a little sister. It breaks my heart to see someone so young in this position.
Ladies, please be aware of the person you’re with. Please be aware of the man you’re dating and the person you’re having a sexual relationship with. What happened to her is not acceptable. I honestly don’t even have the words to describe how disturbing this is.
I’ve been shaking and shivering uncontrollably from the stress since I found out, and she is in such a bad mental state right now. She really wanted to have kids in the next 10 years or so. She wanted a family and used to always talk about how she wanted at least two children and would love them more than anything because she didn’t have a great upbringing or childhood herself. She wanted to give her future children everything she never had.
And now she doesn’t have a uterus anymore.
She has been inconsolable. She’s in such a bad mental state that I don’t even know how to help her. I can’t even bring myself to talk to her sometimes because I don’t know what to say. It’s just too heavy for me.
What makes this even worse is that this guy had isolated her from the women in our office and from her other friends. She used to have a private life and a separate social circle from school, college, etc., but he gradually isolated her from almost everyone, men and women alike.
And this is what he has done to her.
Now he’s blaming her for not taking birth control, and she has left him.
I honestly don’t know what to make of any of this. This has disturbed me so much.

3,000 applications, one offer

Hey guys, I would like to announce that I finally have a job!
I got laid off on 17 July, and I had already been actively, like very, very actively, applying for jobs since November 2025. In that time, I applied to over 3,000 positions. Out of those 3,000+ applications, I only got shortlisted for two. One eventually ghosted me, and with the other, I couldn’t clear the interview because apparently I didn’t have what it takes to be a good fit for the role.
Then, about a month ago, I got a call from a company that actually approached me. I didn’t even know they had an opening in my field, and the role itself was quite niche, so I honestly didn’t expect much from it. But somehow, I made it through.
Ironically, after applying to more than 3,000 positions, I ended up getting selected for a role where the company reached out to me first.
It is safe to say that this job market is absolutely brutal. I genuinely don’t know how many of the jobs being posted are even real anymore. This past year has been incredibly exhausting, from constantly applying to preparing for interviews and dealing with rejection after rejection. It honestly sucked the life out of me.
I have to start around the end of September, and I’m just really glad that I didn’t have to take a very long career break. From 17 July to 2 September, it’s been about six weeks, which is honestly much shorter than I expected.
I also went through six rounds of interviews for this company. Even when I felt like I wasn’t confident enough or didn’t think I had done well, I somehow still made it through and got selected. I don’t know how my life is going to change with this job yet, but I’m just really glad that things are finally working out.
To everyone who is currently applying and struggling to find something, I genuinely hope you get the role you’re looking for, get paid well, and end up somewhere that treats you well. This market is really tough, and I know how draining it can be because I’ve been there for the past year.
Wishing everyone who’s in the same position all the very best. I hope things work out for you too. ❤️

I know my mother loves me, so why do I so often feel unloved?

Disclaimer: This is going to be a long read. I’m not really asking a specific question or looking for a solution. I think I just need to put this somewhere because I’ve struggled to explain my relationship with my mother for a very long time.

I’m almost 24 years old, and my mother is 52. Our relationship has always been very strange and complicated, and if I’m being completely honest, it has mostly been difficult. For some context, my dad has always worked out of station. He and my mother have never had a particularly close relationship, and because of his work, he doesn’t come home very often. Usually, he comes home for an important event, a festival, or something that requires him to be there. So for most of my childhood and even my adult life, it has essentially been me and my mother. I’m also the only child and the only daughter, and I think being the only child has been difficult for both of us in very different ways.
My mother comes from a very different background. Her father was a doctor, her mother was a homemaker, and they had seven children, including my mother. From what she has told me, she saw her father struggle a lot to provide for all of them. Because of that, education has always been extremely important to her. Respect is important. Reputation is important. Everything you do in life needs to be controlled, moderated and thought through. She grew up in a very small town and then moved to a big city after getting married. She had a certain idea of what her life would look like, and I honestly don’t think much of it has ever gone according to plan. I sometimes wonder if some of that frustration, anxiety and fear has somehow carried over into the way she raised me.
I have always been scared of my mother. She has had outbursts at me for as long as I can remember. I will absolutely admit when I’m wrong, and there are times when her anger is justified. I’m not trying to paint myself as some perfect daughter who has never done anything wrong. I’ve made mistakes, I’ve lied, I’ve hidden things, I’ve been stubborn and I’ve rebelled against her. But a lot of the time, it feels like she panics about everything. Something small happens, she gets extremely stressed, and that stress eventually gets dumped on me. She starts shouting, questioning me, assuming the worst, and suddenly something that I considered completely harmless becomes a massive argument. It becomes emotionally exhausting for me because I never know what is going to set her off.
One of the strangest things about our relationship is that I have learned to hide things from her, not necessarily because I’m doing anything wrong, but because I already know how she is going to react. Sometimes I tell her something that I genuinely consider harmless and she takes it extremely seriously, starts stressing out, starts questioning me about it, and eventually starts shouting at me. Then we fight. So over the years, I’ve learned that sometimes the easiest way to keep peace at home is simply not to tell her things. And I know that isn’t necessarily healthy either. I don’t want to have to hide parts of my life from my own mother, but sometimes it feels like I have no other option if I want to avoid another fight.
My mother has also tried to control a huge portion of my life, and I have always rebelled against that control. Most of my rebellion was silent when I was younger. I would do things behind her back, eventually get caught, have a massive fight with her, promise not to do it again, and then somehow continue doing whatever I wanted anyway. And honestly, that hasn’t completely stopped even now. I’m an adult. I work. I have my own life, my own thoughts, my own relationships and my own decisions to make. But sometimes I still feel like a teenager trying to figure out how to avoid getting caught doing something.
I still live with her, and I desperately want to move out. The complicated part is that my mother has been sick for almost half a decade, so I also feel responsible for being there. She has needed help and support for a long time, and even though there is now some help available, I still feel like I need to be around to check up on her, make sure things at home are okay and generally keep things stable. I genuinely want to be there for her, especially because she is my mother and I know she has been through a lot. But at the same time, I desperately need my own mental space. I want to know what it feels like to come home without constantly worrying about what my mother is going to ask me, whether she is going to call me, whether she is going to interrogate me about something completely random, or whether something insignificant is suddenly going to turn into another argument.
Sometimes I just want to exist without having to explain myself. I want to be able to make decisions without immediately thinking about how she is going to react. I want to be able to have a part of my life that belongs to me. And I feel incredibly guilty even saying that because I know she has sacrificed a lot for me. She has raised me, worried about me, worked hard for me and done things for me that I will probably never be able to fully repay. I know that. I’m not ungrateful, and I’m not trying to erase everything she has done for me. But providing for someone and emotionally comforting them are two very different things, and I think I have spent a lot of my life confusing the two.
The physical affection part hurts me in a completely different way. I hardly ever hug my mother, and whenever I do, I’m usually the one initiating it. Sometimes I’ll hug her and she’ll push me away and say things like, “Please don’t hug me” or “Get away from me,” usually in a playful manner. I know she probably doesn’t mean it seriously, but I take it seriously because I don’t know what it feels like to have my mother come to me for a hug when I’m upset. I don’t know what it feels like to have her sit beside me and comfort me when I’m falling apart. I’ve gone through a lot of my problems alone. And I’m not talking about my dad here because my relationship with him is very different. I’m specifically talking about my mother because she is the parent I have spent most of my life with, and therefore the relationship with her affects me in a completely different way.
I sometimes feel like the love I receive from her is conditional. I don’t think she doesn’t love me. I actually know that she loves me, which is what makes this so difficult. If I believed she didn’t love me, maybe this would be easier to understand. Instead, I know she loves me, but I don’t always feel loved by her. Especially since I went to university, graduated, started working and became more independent, it feels like the more I grow into my own person, the more difficult our relationship becomes. There are so many things about my life that I deliberately don’t tell her because I already know what will happen if she finds out. Sometimes I feel horrible about that because she is my mother and I don’t want to lie to her. But I also don’t want every little thing I do to become a source of stress, shouting and fighting at home.
A lot of people who know about my relationship with my mother have told me that maybe she is just trying to make me strong. That she is hard on me because she wants me to be independent and capable of handling the world. That this is what “tough love” looks like. And maybe some of it really is. Maybe she genuinely believes that being strict with me is her way of protecting me. Maybe everything she went through while growing up has shaped the way she understands love and parenting. I can understand all of that intellectually. I understand where she is coming from. I understand the struggles she has seen, the things she has sacrificed and the kind of environment she grew up in. But sometimes I don’t want tough love. Sometimes I just want to feel loved.
I want to be able to tell my mother something without immediately preparing myself for her reaction. I want to be able to make a mistake without feeling like I have disappointed her as a person. I want to be able to come home and feel safe enough to talk to her. I want to be able to hug my mother without wondering whether she wants me to let go. I want to be comforted sometimes. I want to feel like I can be vulnerable around her instead of constantly having to be careful about what I say and how I say it. And I know that maybe this sounds childish because I’m almost 24, but I don’t think wanting affection from your mother has an age limit.
I also think a part of me is grieving the relationship I wish I had with her. I don’t want a perfect mother. I don’t expect her to suddenly become affectionate or completely change the way she thinks. I just wish there was a little more softness between us. I wish we could talk without everything becoming an argument. I wish she could see that me wanting independence isn’t me rejecting her. I wish she could understand that moving out someday doesn’t mean I don’t love her or that I don’t care about her. I want to have my own life without feeling like I’m abandoning her.
I’m turning 24 in a week, and I genuinely don’t know what our relationship is supposed to look like at this age. I sometimes feel incredibly close to her and incredibly distant from her at the exact same time. She is probably the person who knows me better than anyone else, but there are also huge parts of me that she will probably never know because I’m too scared of what will happen if she does. I love her, I’m grateful for her, and I know she has done a lot for me. But I’m also tired. I’m tired of hiding things, tired of feeling guilty for wanting independence, tired of feeling responsible for her emotions, and tired of wondering whether wanting some distance makes me a selfish daughter.
Maybe this is simply what growing up and separating from your parents looks like. Maybe this is just what happens when a mother and daughter have spent almost their entire lives together and suddenly the daughter starts wanting a life of her own. Maybe there are some relationships that are just complicated and never become the kind of relationship you imagined when you were younger. I honestly don’t know. I just know that sometimes having a mother can feel incredibly lonely, and I don’t really know what to do with that feeling.

A Delhi guidebook from someone who has spent TOO much time roaming around all alone with no gatekeeping

I’ve lived in Delhi my entire life. I’ve also spent a ridiculous amount of time exploring the city all alone because I genuinely LOVE Delhi, and I’ve never understood why you need a group of 5 friends to enjoy the city. Over the years, I’ve found places where you can go alone, with friends, with family, on a date, with a book, to work, to eat, drink, shop, look at art, or just walk around and exist outside your house for a few hours.
A bunch of my friends have repeatedly asked me to make a list because apparently, they’ve ended up loving a lot of the places I recommend. So here it is. NO GATEKEEPING. This is especially for people who want to go out alone but are still scared/awkward about it. You genuinely do not need someone else to accompany you everywhere. This isn't meant to be a generic “Top 50 Tourist Places in Delhi” list. These are mostly places I’ve personally been to, liked, or would recommend based on the experience. Obviously, places change, so check current timings, menus, reservation policies, etc. before going. And also, you may know some or most of these places and may or may not like it, so this is a list based on my likes and experiences, you are obviously free to like and dislike places and outlets according to your experiences.

Delhi gets a LOT of shit.
The pollution, the traffic, the heat, the metro crowds, the aunties, the men, the auto drivers, the humidity, the random construction happening literally everywhere...
But I've lived here my entire life, and I genuinely love this city. There is SO much to do here if you stop looking only at the obvious tourist attractions. You don't need a boyfriend/girlfriend, a group of 10 friends, a car, or ₹5,000 in your bank account to have a good day in Delhi. Sometimes all you need is a metro card, comfortable shoes, some money for food and absolutely no plan.

So this is my little Delhi guidebook.

  • Underrated food places
  • Cheap activities
  • Hidden cafés
  • Good bakeries/dessert places
  • Solo-friendly places
  • Art/culture
  • Weird/random things to do
  • Underrated markets
  • Good sunset spots
  • Places that aren't already all over Instagram

Just got groped near High Court

I’m visiting my paternal family here in Allahabad and my family resides near circuit house area. Me and my sister were out for an evening walk from circuit house to high court. We were coming back from high court and suddenly a guy comes in front of me riding an activa, stops for a second, gropes my breast and leaves immediately. The way he did it seemed like he was a seasoned professional groper. I’ve visited Allahabad several times and come here once or twice a year. This is making me rethink the whole visiting thing. When we walked ahead and reached bahuguna market we saw that guy again and he was on the other side of the road looking at me once again. A policeman was nearby and i explained him the situation to which he said “ye sab to hote rehta hai hum bhi kya kare”. I thought the area I live in was sort of safe because there are just rows of bungalows throughout the road and also connects with the army housing and polo ground area. Really feeling like shit right now and don’t even know what to think of it. I’m just thankful that he didn’t do anything to my little sister because that’d have been more of a shittier feeling for me.

If someone lives near this area then lookout for a guy in a grey/grey green activa and the guy has a thick beard, dark skin, wears spectacles and roams around this area. Stay safe guys this could happen to you or your family members.

Thrifted this gem from a local street book seller for just ₹50

Finished The Penguin Book of Migration Literature and it was such a lovely read. It felt like a breath of fresh air, a beautiful collection exploring migration, identity, belonging, and the feeling of carrying a piece of home wherever you go.
Loved how human and personal the stories felt. Definitely one of those books that quietly stays with you after you finish.
Final rating is 10/10. Whole heartedly recommended for all sorts of readers especially someone who is new in the book reading hobby.

Hot takes on books which might make other people judge you

My hot take is that I don’t align with the book wuthering heights by Emily Bronte. The narration is confusing and the emotions are too extreme when it comes to heathcliff and Catherine. It seems more about obsession over love.

My bookmark collection

Disclaimer: before you all freak out about me sharing my insurance details online, those cards are over 18 years old and have already expired/exhausted by now.

I am actively using only the bookmarks in the far-left column. Other than those, all the other bookmarks were either gifted to me or given by bookstores when I purchased books from there.

Some details:
- On the far left column: two of the cards are old insurance cards, one is a certification card for a citrine bracelet that I wear, one is a random food court card, one is my Red Cable Club card (of course), and the last two are business cards that I found in my friend’s wallet and decided to keep.
- The two red bookmarks on top are from Oxford Bookstore. I cut one of them shorter because the original length was too big for a bookmark.
- The croissant bookmark was also given to me by Oxford Bookstore, CP, New Delhi.
- The Anna Karenina bookmark was given by Om Book Shop when I purchased Anna Karenina from there.
- The abstract bookmarks were given to me by my friend, who hated them (I don’t really like them much either lol).
- The Ghibli bookmarks are from Comic Con, Delhi 2022, when I bought my first ever manga, Spy x Family.
- The last four bookmarks in the bottom row were gifted by a coworker during Secret Santa. She also gifted me a Penguin edition of The Godfather by Mario Puzo (the original edition) along with it, which she bought from Oxford Bookstore again.

I was asked to present my jewellery pieces in this subReddit

Hello everyone!
I’m not sure if this is the right subreddit for this, but a friend suggested that I post my ear stack and bracelet stack here.

Ear Stack Details
First Image
All of my earrings are sterling silver, as I only wear silver jewelry in my ears.
I’m wearing silver hoops with cubic zirconia stones.
My forward helix, vertical helix, cartilage, helix, and tragus piercings all have simple silver pieces with stones.

Second Image
All of my piercings are silver jewellery except for the bottom lobe piercing.

Nose Ring
My nose ring is from a very old vintage shop in Connaught Place, Delhi.
It cost me around ₹1,100.
It is a 3 gram silver nose ring.

Bracelet Stack
My bracelet stack includes a Titan Raga watch.
I wear three bracelets alongside it:
Two tennis bracelets featuring glass crystals embedded in gold-toned chains.
The third is a silver bracelet with purple heart embellishments.

Feel free to ask if you’d like details about any of the pieces!

Spotting for a week with occasional clots, but my period hasn’t properly started. Should I be concerned?

Hi everyone,
I’m 23F and have been experiencing spotting for about a week. The blood is mostly dark red/brown, and I occasionally pass small blood clots, but my period has not started as a full flow yet.

Some relevant details:
I had unprotected sex twice in April.
I have taken a pregnancy test recently and it was negative.
I did have a normal period about 3 weeks after the unprotected sex.
I previously had PCOS but had recovered and my cycles became regular.
I’ve been under significant stress due to work and personal life.
My sleep has been poor and never feels fully restorative.
I feel tired most of the time.

One thing that is unusual for me is that I normally do not experience pain during my periods. The main sign that my period is about to start is lower back pain, which usually disappears as soon as my period begins.
However, this time I’ve had that same lower back pain for the past 8–9 days, along with the spotting, but my period still hasn’t started properly.
Has anyone experienced something similar? What could be causing this, and is it something I should get checked by a gynecologist?
Any insights would be appreciated. Thank you.
