I am a psychology student from Federation University and I am currently looking for participants to complete a 20-30 minute survey exploring people's experiences with sexism online.

As we have all integrated the internet into our daily lives, it is increasingly common to encounter gender-based harassment, sexualisation, threats, and other forms of gendered discrimination online. Yet, despite how common these experience are, we still have gaps in how we measure and understand them. The aim of this study is to develop a new measurement tool that captures the different ways sexism is experienced online.

Anyone over 18 who uses social media can participate. Your responses will help inform a clearer picture of what online sexism looks like and how it impacts people.

Participation is voluntary and your responses will remain anonymous.

I am a 4th year psychology student from Federation University Australia and I am currently looking for participants for a study exploring people's experiences with sexism online.

As we have all integrated the internet into our daily lives, it is increasingly common to encounter gender-based harassment, sexualisation, threats, and other forms of gendered discrimination online. Yet, despite how common these experience are, we still have gaps in how we measure and understand them. The aim of this study is to develop a new measurement tool that captures the different ways sexism is experienced online.

You will be asked to complete a 30-minute anonymous survey including demographic questions and questionnaires about online sexism, technology-facilitated sexual abuse, cyberbullying, feminist identity, social media behaviours, wellbeing, and self-silencing. You can also provide feedback on the proposed measure. Participation is voluntary and you may skip questions or withdraw before submitting.

As a thank you for your participation, you will have the option to enter a prize draw to win one of four AUD$20 gift vouchers.
