I'm getting a colonoscopy, is there anything I need to know relating to MCAS
Is there anything I need to look out for that could be dangerous for me? Pretty nervous, never had anything classified as surgical done to me before.

Diagnosed with adhd as a kid, lifelong struggle with behavioral issues and social isolation and ostracization blah blah you know the rest. I've recently come to the realization that I have autism. I know people claiming self diagnosis are annoying, but believe me this is something I actively would rather not believe that I have nor want to be associated with, it's a pretty painful realization. Already have enough stigmas attached to me lol.
Anyways, I brought it up to my psychiatrist and I guess the process to get diagnosed is pretty complicated and potentially expensive? Is there any utility based reason to get an official diagnosis that makes it worth it? Professional confirmation for its own sake doesn't seem worth the hassle to me, especially since I already have access to psychiatric meds and no desire to get therapy.
I have a stem degree and 1 yoe (not in education), but really nobody that I could really get a letter of rec from except for extended family or family friends.
Every time, they always decide they don't like me. I don't know what to do..
I have a B.S. in computer science, and from Southern California (edit: Orange County). Been struggling to find employment in the past year. I heard substitute teachers are in demand? How hard would it be for me to become one?
I'm being forced to accept that I need a career change after graduating with a degree that frankly I was never compatible with (computer science), and that I'm now being punished for by not being able to remain competitive in a downturned job market. I'm terrified of investing more time into credentialing just to end up in another field that doesn't work out for me. Also recently realized I have autism and not just debilitating adhd-pi. Anyone know what careers are good for people like us?
$5 for normal, or $12 for expansion should be a fair price. I can do Venmo or Zelle, haven't been in any other family plans in the past year, so there shouldn't be any issues with Nintendo blocking it. Cheers
Been unemployed for over a year now..I have a college degree and 1 YOE. I struggle with interviews bc they're basically designed to filter out anyone with social ineptitudes or that is "weird" or "off" in any way. It sucks, I always get passed the hr screening just to end up seeing the interviewers feel uncomfortable and visibly check out while interviewing me :(
It's sooo boring 🥲 I find I struggle to push through and maintain my pace, not because im physically incapable, but because it's so boring and feels unrewarding
Was a massive supporter in 2020, he was my big entry into politics, since it was the first election I was able to vote in. It's been 6 years and I've evolved a lot politically, but I still remain strongly politically aligned with him and what he ran on. I came across something credibly suggesting he will be running in '28. Anyone here familiar with the more nuts and bots side of politics and know how to get a meaningful role on a campaign that isn't just volunteering to knock on doors or spam call people for free? I imagine a path in if it exists would be through the forward party?
It's like all of a sudden im seen as a valuable human being worthy of consideration. So this is what it's like to be neurotypical.
Eventually they notice something's up so the spell doesn't last forever, but for surface level day to day interaction and surviving social events it's a game changer and turned living into easy mode. Wild
