The aborted were just criminals anyway

The most ridiculous quote, and racist, I just read about the lowering of crime in NYC and across the country:

"And while the drop in crime was particularly noted in NY, it was a nationwide phenomenon.

Among other theories .... and very controversially, *access to abortion (the fetuses most likely to be aborted were also the most likely to be criminals). " *

A pump for Peanut butter?

A few years ago, there was an invention for a peanut butter pump. Did anyone ever receive it?

I didn't. It looked super cool, though. 😎

What does butter popcorn taste like? Why do you have it?

Hi, I'm a brit and I'm just wondering what buttered popcorn tastes like. It's not a widespread thing here and I'm wondering if I should just try and home make it. Thanks!

Wiper fluid ho$e? 17 MKX BL

Help, please? Cost and service advice.... thank you.

The hose for the wiper fluid is busted, but thankfully, it is not in the part through the cabin. It leaked completely all over the dealership floor after they filled it during the oil change and car wash. I generally like using the area dealership and most of the people.

I was quoted that day $100 to fix at a later date (why didn't they check and notice during the service? ) , and then, $200 just to diagnose when i called to schedule. What's with that?

Should I try a local auto shop instead for something that sounds simple?

Was I wrong to think it was included in a hoses check?

I'm not mad, I just want to learn and also manage my expectations.

Thank you!

Sincerely, how do you become the denomination you've chosen? Is there a ceremony? Do you have classes to understand what that denomination preaches and believes before you're called Baptist, Methodist, Presbyterian, JW, LDS? Or meet with the pastor of the church you've chosen? Do you just pop in, and now you've switched from Baptist to Presbyterian ? Do you join based on the pastor and not the beliefs?

I'm sincerely curious. I've never joined a different Faith or church, although I have visited many non Catholic churches. I never saw or heard the process of becoming Presbyterian, Pentecostal, Methodist, etc.

I've recently begun to notice that some people have just one day decided to be Catholic, receive the Eucharist that day without knowing it isn't a plain wafer and Grape juice, but don't know the Faith, what Catholics truly believe. They don't know what being Catholic means. Receiving the Eucharist, the Body and Blood of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ 🙏 affirms that you agree with the Faith and Catholic dogma and teachings.

In our Faith, we usually take a class for 9 months or so. We learn about what the Faith teaches, and why. Why this thing is good, why this thing isn't good. Why we believe it to be good or not good. We learn about God, and we learn about the Faith and why we believe our Faith reflects who God is, and who He wants us to be.

Usually at Easter, we become officially Catholic through the Sacraments: Baptism if unbaptized previously, confirmed in the Holy Spirit, absolved in Reconciliation, and receiving the Body and Blood of our Lord God and Savior Jesus Christ for the first time in the Eucharist.

We learn, ask questions, inquire, discern before we agree to it.

Our oldest grown son (with celiac disease for 25 years) stopped by yesterday on his way through town. We always offer him gluten-free food, drinks, snacks, etc.

Yesterday, I had an unopened, (gluten free), chocolate peanut butter jar, so I asked if he would like it to take back to his work site.

His eyes lit up, his smile grew bigger, and his voice almost quivering, asked us where he could also buy this precious treasure of joy in a jar. ❤️ He was so excited to discover it, much as I was a few years ago.

A friend of ours was in the hospital last year for a month. I grabbed a jar on our way to see him. He was over the moon 🌙 for it. He made sure to ask the dietician/nurse if it was allowed before he had some.

Meanwhile, east of Eden, my mom and niece think it's a weird combination. More for us!
